Hey guys , im fairly new to LCPDFR, I played the .91 version First, and then upgraded to the .95 beta Version , i know its very buggy and all the developers are busy and such, I would just like to lend a helping hand if there is anyway i can, i dont know Code or scripting, but i am more than willing to be a beta tester 100% Dedicated!

I am running .95 and first of all i would like to say, im not asking about bugs on it, I am simply asking about a keybinding problem. When i try to run a suspects name, anytime i use j,k or g, My Sirens, or lights toggel on and off, i was going to rebind these functions to F1 F2 and F3, But before i do i wanted to know if anyone knows if this will affect any other Bindings?

I started playing LCPDFR just last week, i started playing on version .91 because i did some reading first and discovered it was the more stable version, after a few days i moved up to .95 to try it out, the first thing i have to say, its not as bad as people are making it sound, second if you are just looking for some fun, go play world of warcraft, it has a billion dollar company behind it and im sure youll find it let buggy, for those of you that wish to play a realiatic simulator as well as my self, then play .95 and do what i do, when it crashes, i write down where i was what i was doing and what i clicked to make it crash, compile a list and post it on the forums, if u want a bug free gAme so bad, why not help test it as you play? If you want to be a part of LCPDFR community act like, when ur game crashes say crP and reatart it, dont complain, the developers are voulteers and doing their best :)

Do you have any modded cars loaded in? Jeeze, theirs times i take a corner and theres 14 texis stopped at a light, its so annnoying doing traffic stops cause all their names are always weird and the taxi drivers always have a suspended license or a warrant for arrest haha

Well yes gta 4 as it comes is a sandbox, i just meant that when u look at the Way we are playing it now, with lcpdfr, i see it as more of a rp simulator, less of a sandbox run around kiling everything, And thanks for the list of mods, im gonna download those, and do you know of a good traffic mod? to elimiante traxis, ive tried 2 now and they done seem to do much, so i removed some of my cars and now just have a plain back slick top crown vic, and no other custom cars and im still seeing ALOT of taxis, any suggestions?

Ah okay ,thanks. the only thing is i didnt want to downlaod anything like snt, turns the game in to , too much of a sandbox imo, i use some realisim mods to make the policing experience better, downloading that would just turn it around, Ill say one last thing though and hopefully someone might know, i know a little bit about programming and scripts, not a whole lot, but i know enough to know that u have to tell the computer everything, When i log into gta 4, i have no guns, when i start LCPDFR, i get a bat, a glock and a shotgun, so somewhere in lcpdfr's script, it tells the game to spawn u that, couldnt i easily replace the spawn code for shotgun with an m4? im sure it can be done. if anyyone knows how id appreciate your help! :)

Well i just imported the baton mod and rebuilt so that should be okay now, But when i say changing thwe weapons to normal, im just wondering what the Regual starting weapons would be? i watched a video tut on youtue from one of the devolpers from this site i belive it was, (it was defiently someone from lcpdfr Advertising a video) Anyways besides the point, They started with a Baton, a Glock, And instead of a shotgun, they had an m4, I start with a shotgun, and would rather have the m4

Thanks! that will do it for sure, The only other question is, should i have the shotgun by default or the m4? and is there a way to change that?

What is snt? how can i go about changing the weapons to normal?

I have tryed both .91 and .95, Both versions start my officer with a glock, a Shotgun and a baseball bat, the videos i have watched all the officers have a glock, a m4 and a baton, How can i fix this?
