Um am I missing something here or does the thread title not correspond well to the main post itself?

This is the wrong section to post up a "Support Question" in.

It is because you have your cheats in. Your cheats enable the baseball bat instead of the batton. Try not enabling the cheat that involves a hand weapon, such as the "Knife" or "Baseball Bat" and your Batton should come out....or maybe try reloading your weapons, by opening your trunk, it should reload all of the weapons that LCPDFR offers. I don't know about that yet, but try it.

You seem to have a lot of complaints about the mod, but you have absolutely nothing constructive to say. You have some fair points about a few of the bugs that the mod has, but there is nothing that we are not aware of, so why you have to bitch about it, I really don't know.

As for your "stupid mistakes" section about your objection to the prisoner transport being called prisoner transport, I think that you will find that in the US, when transporting an arrested subject, virtually all agencies and officers will simply refer to it as prisoner transport. To bitch about something like that is just a waste of everyone's time.

You obviously are looking for something realistic, but you forget that you are playing GTA. Let me remind you that GTA is meant to be you working for the bad guys, not arresting them, so we are sadly limited in what we can do as this is a mod, not a game. My suggestion to you would be to go and learn some programming languages and make your own mod exactly to your liking. Alternatively, you could go try Police Pursuit Mod, and then come crawling back over here when you realise that you actually get it pretty good with LCPDFR.

Cue rknetwork leaving the forum forever in a righteous fury, spouting hateful remarks regarding LCPDFR devs and any of their firstborn.

The other weird part about that is I'm pretty sure lights and sirens exempt you from traffic laws. I can't imagine a cop getting in trouble for running a red light on the way to a call.
