Heavy rain in Liberty County has played havock on the outlying dirt roads, as the sides of the roads have started to collapse. Liberty City emergency call center recieved multiple calls from motorists complaining that the road had washed away and they were stuck. All 3 Emergency services responded to the calls and closed down the roads. A Liberty County Spokesperson has said, "The roads will remain closed until we have found a way to stop the roads washing away, we're all sorry for the inconvience"

Officers from Liberty City Beach PD had a report of a stolen 'Whiz' van, an State trooper manning the toll booths noticed the vehicle heading towards Dukes/Broker. He radioed ahead where 3 cruisers were waiting. When the Officers 'lit up' the vehicle the driver sped off, unable to control the van he ploughed straight into a Sign post. The officers pulled him to safety and waited for Liberty City Fire&EMS to arrive.
