We're making some progress..
I'm quite satisfied with the chassis at the moment. I shall now move on to detailing.
 

It is very much a work in progress. I must admit I am a total novice on car modelling, however I have several years of experience in modelling buildings, trains and ships.
If you think you can be of any help, don't hesitate to assist me. 
 
This is a model from scratch built from reference pictures  and not a conversion from Need for Speed. Which also opens up for faults. Feel free to point out errors as the thread and progress expands. I would also appreciate more reference images for this model to be as precise as it can be.
 
The advantage of a model built from scratch are

Polygon-friendly
Built for GTA V only thus optimized for smooth gameplay

The aforementioned vehicle presented below, with a test baked texture applied to show where we're going. Still a long way to go..
