Lifetime System for Emersive Story, Gameplay & Campaign
You will now be able to track your deaths in the story mode over time and if you die to often, your lifetime ran out! The story will automatically restart at the prologue ... can you beat GTA 5 with this mod till the end?
CONTENT
Entropy is a persistent lifetime and consequence system designed to transform GTA V and GTAV Enhanced into more high-staked, immersive narrative experiences. Unlike standard health, your Entropy Bar represents your character's total remaining "existence" and lifetime left. When it reaches zero ... your story ends and the world resets.
Key Features
- Persistent Lifetime System: your entropy level is saved externally. Reloading an old GTA save will not universially restore your life. Very mistake and bullet might be tracked. A new game but will start a new lifetime level. You always start at 100%.
- Dynamic penalties: Dying isn't just a trip to hospital. Every death carries a significant Entropy penalty based on the cause:
-> Combat: Fatalities from gunfire or melee
-> Accidents: Falling from heights or drowning
-> Environment: Fires, animals and explosions and so much more!
- Progression & Survival:
-> Time based decay (optional): Configure the bar to slowly deplete over hours of playtime, forcing you to commit to the story before your time rans out!
-> Mission bonuses: Successfully completing story missions awards bonuses to keep your character going even when havint taking damage!
-> Passive recovery (optional): Survive long enough, and your character earns minor survival bonuses over time
- The "Full reset" mechanic: Reaching 0% triggers a total systeme purge. To prevent the engine from loading old data, the mod "vaults" your current save files and initiates a fresh start from Prologue. Your previous session are archived and a new Entropy session is started.
- Customizable Difficulty:
-> Hardcore modus: less bonuses
-> Instant Death: One mistake gives you permadeath
-> Dynamic HUD: Keeping the interface clear, only appearing the bar when your status changes
-> On Off switch: Use the INI or CTRL+SHIFT+L
Technical Philosophy:
Entroy is built for the "No-Try" philosophy of engineering. It bypasses the safety nets of managed memory and save-loading to provide a emergent, unforgiving contract between the player and the game world. Your old savefiles yet will not be touched and can be reloaded at any time.
Originally, "Entropy" is the name of a physical process of slow decay / falling appart over time.
INSTALLATION & HOW TO USE
- Install Script Hook V Dot Net (Nightly version recommended)
- Make sure you got, or if not create, a scripts folder in your GTA 5 directory
- Place GTAV_Entropy.ini and GTAV_Entropy.asi in the scripts folder
- If you want, modify the .ini to your liking
- For uninstallation, just disable the script in the .ini OR delete the files from your scripts folder
- For modification, just edit the files included
- - . INI file for easy modifications, supported
- - .CS () file for deeper modifications, not supported by default

INSTALLATION
OpenIV is required for installation.
Installation instructions are included in the download files, the installation is not very difficult and just requires to replace 3 files.
The EASY BASE CONFIG version is only for changes in spawning NPC groups and new DLC cars added to the traffic. It should work on every GTA 5 Version.
The FULL version comes with an FiveM support, increased traffic density options, additional options and enhanced support instructions.
It might be less compatible with other mods or game versions than the one mentioned in the README.
This features both support for
- GTA 5 (Legacy)
- GTA 5 Enhanced
This mod also supports FiveM.
An package installer for OpenIV is included.
The newest 2.2.2 FULL version of this mod was mainly build for GTA 5 v. 1.0.3717(Online 1.72)(Savehouse in the hills update)(Legacy support). It might be not fitting with your personal GTA version.
If you want to use this mod for GTA 5 Enhanced - Yes it will work but no , you can not use the automatic installer.
You will have to get a gameconfig.xml that works with GTA 5 Enhanced (e.g. https://www.gta5-mods.com/misc/gta-5-gameconfig-300-cars)
1. FAQ:
- Can there crashes occur: Yes, it is possible. Its not frequent or regular, but it is quite possible and i myself got some crashes, but due to the fact that i can not tell if it is my own mod, or another submod or script, i will only be able to tell when i tell.
- Can this caues FPS lag: Yes, when you got an CPU that is weaker than your GPU, yes, it can.
CONTENT
This mod will improve your ingame traffic and ped density and level of realism.
There are several points this mod will change ingame and enhance them, for example:
1. DLC-Cars and new non-DLC cars will now spawn in traffic. There is a variety of new cars, like sportscars, suvs and busses to spawn. For Example:
- adder
- zentorno
- zorusso
- liberator truck
- brawler
- stretch
- osiris
- paradise
- squaddie
- new boats
- new busses
- new SUvs
- new bikes
- ...
There won't spawn all dlc cars available, because i saw now point in adding futuristic stuff that doesn't fit the game. For this kind of game, there is gta online. All DLC cars will spawn in parts of the city where it's realistic.
2. Police officers are now active in the Streets of Los Santos Country.
For example, there are:
- Police Officers of the LSPD patrol the streets of Los Santos and the freeways around Los Santos by car and on foot.
- Police Oficcers of the LSSD patrol the area of Los Santos County, Sandy Shores and parts of the suburbs of Los Santos, like Davis, on foot and in cars.
- The SAHP will now patrol the highways outside the city by motorcycles
- The Police will use regular police cars on patrol. At night, at dangerous areas, like the Gang Areas of Los Santos,they will also use heavy vehicles, like armored transporters.
-Also, Police will prefer to patrol the high-risk level places more often than other parts of the city (For Example: Gang Areas or very prouded places)
- Juristiction Fix - Sheriff will now also patrol the streets of Davis (Los Santos)
Sometimes, FIB Agents are walking around in PIllbox Hill (Downtown Los Santos) near the FIB skyscraper.
- Prison busses are also rarely driving between the police stations in Los Santos and the Prison. They prefer to drive at night, or at midday. As an alternative, sometimes prison busses are replaced by LSPD Transporters for Prisoners that are transfered between police stations in LS, or NOOSE Trucks for very dangerous inmates.
- NOOSE (SWAT) Teams are sometimes driving in RIOT Trucks in the city at night, like they are on their way to a high level arrest or patrol very high risk, violent areas. They are mainly operating at Davis and Rancho, Gang Areas of Los Santos, or rarely at Sandy Shores between 1 and 4 o'clock at night.
- The military is now also equipped with squaddies, stationed at Zanduco Military Base
- There are a couple of other additioins in the Military Base, like armored marines patroling in the base, or Noose Operators rarely interacting with military stuff
3. The density of the traffic and the amount of pedestrians that walk around is way better improved, enhanced and expanded
- in some parts of the city and the county there won't spawn a lot of cars and vehicles, also at certain times, like at 3 AM, there is a rapid decrease of traffic in most areas.
- in other parts, like the freeway, there are a lot of cars, more than in vanilla GTA
- also the amount of peds has been balanced, at the street, the Del Pierro Promenade or Downtown there will be way more people. Also in Sandy Shores, at afternoon, there will be more peds. But, too keep the game realistic, in some parts and at night, there will be less pedestrians.

INSTALLATION with an OpenIV Package:

You can use the Package for the installation with OpenIV:
To do so, open OpenIV, navigate to the heading "Tools" and select "Package Installer".
Then select "New Loading Music v01.oiv" from the main folder of this mod. A "mod" folder is recommended.
You can use the deinstallation package the same way to deinstall the mod.

If the Rockstar Logo Intro is not playing, you have to rereplace the video file with itself to be loaded again.
Either do this with my version (the orignal game version) or your custom one.
Path: update\update.rpf\x64\movies\ and replace rockstar_logos.bik with the version in mine (or any other version you want to use).
This mod will not when entering the online game.

This mod will enhance & rebalance the ammunition types in Grand Theft Auto V.
Core contents are:
1. Realistic Ammunition capacy. For every kind of weapon, you will be able to field now a large, but not unrealistic amount of ammunition at any point given. For example, you can not carry more than 5 Grenades at any given point.
2. Unique real - life ammunition . Every weapon got the ammunition type they do in real life.
An Assault Rifle (AK-47 or AK-12 or similar) or an Carbine - Rifle (M4 or similar) do not have the same ammunition in real life. Thus ingame, both will have different ammunition.
Example, the CarbineRifle does have the ammunition 5.56 mm NATO, the AssaultRifle or AssaultRifle MK II have the 7.62 x 39 mm. An Pistol 50 wll now have .50 caliber shells for pistols, what are more heavy but do more damage. An Normal combat pistol will have 9x19 parabellum and can carry a bit more maximum ammunition than the heavier .50 caliber Pistol.
You will have to buy the ammunition in the AmmuNation store, collect it from fallen weapons, or spawn them via a trainer.
3. Remain the weapons - the core weapons, damage and similar are not touched by this mod.
Installation:
A) Automatic Installer
- Use the openIv package installer included. A mods folder is recommended.
B) Manual installation
- Manually replace all the files included inside Grand Theft Auto V update/update.rpf/common/data/ai . A mods folder is recommended.
Backup: The original files as well as an backup installer are included.

What does this mod?
It makes a simple thing:
SWAT / NOOSE Agents that chase you during wanted levels or attack you in missions will be resistant to small caliber gun fire when shot to the helmet!
They might take one shot to the helmet before they go down, so make sure to use the right caliber and aim to take them out before they snap you!!!

The Main Standard v1.0.0 version does feature an RDE mod package that is not fully working. Either edit the .oiv and the assembly.xml and change the version from 2.1 to 21, or use the following instructions, or the RDE extra 1.0.1 package:

The RDE installer is not working properly.
An update is in work. What does this mean? It means, you have to use the following instruction manual to make it work:
Use only the following files from the default manual installation and put them into your GTA 5 mod folder, AFTER having installed RDE successfully.:

Hey!

You either want to make all missions some DarkSouls level of challenge?
You want to make all enemies being just target practise so you can, with all the time you got, experience your new Ultra Realistic Car models while running over pedestrians, not worrying about police killing you?
You want to just make the enemies a bit more or less difficult to fight against?
This mod is for you. It offers 5 different Difficulty Modes, including:
-> 0Accuracy (The Ai ... they wont really hit anything)
-> Easy (For the easy players)
-> Medium (Something on the midle ground)
-> Hard (Someone is up for a challenge, aint they?)
-> Hardcore (Uff ... you really need some pain?)
-> LaserAim (The Enemies will not shoot twice, cause missing is not something they are capable off. The word "shot missed" is just not in their grammer anymore.)
And of course the Vanilla GTA 5 Version as a backup.
Installation requirement:
OpenIV ( https://www.gta5-mods.com/tools/openiv )
Edit mode, create a mods folder.
Installation path:
-> update/update.rpf/common/data/ai
-> Replace the file there.
Deinstallation on the same path.
