Solutions

  1. Tombman429's post in LSPDFR Backup not working/ Some units are broken was marked as the answer   
    So turns out the trainer for WHATEVER reason has the "everyone ignore player" Option turned on in the default ini given for the installation
    I turned that off and Presto I can now use the trainer with LSPDFR on enhanced
