When such scammers upload content on the site with the possible motivation of promoting paid assets, it should raise a red flag. And staff members can at least archive or remove such uploads if reported by a concerned player.

If LSPDFR does indeed have a strict rule against purchasing goods and services, in addition to educating players to be cautious, sellers/promotors should also face certain consequences by promoting their access and thereby committing a rule violation.

Obviously, the buyer is at fault for even falling for such scams, being careless having no common sense, etc. But if the buyer was scammed by scammers via LSPDFR website, or any site that has a rule against exchange for goods; then you cannot say "We can't do anything about it," because this gives you the accusation/charge of "Being an accessory of a scamming scheme." Since you are a if not main; direct, or indirect traffic source, and the host.

Your failure to act accordingly in response to an ongoing scamming scheme resulted in several users from your site suffering personal financial loss, that, you cannot plea "Not Liable."

Back a couple of months ago, or even a year ago, I already suspected this "vehicle mods creator" advertising his stuff on LSPDFR. He would upload a few car mods in "vehicle models," and post something like "contact us for paid custom models" in the description, then disable comments to prevent any communications in public.

The sole purpose of this act is to lure players into their scamming scheme, and therefore promote their scams so more victims will fall for it, via LSPDFR's official website.

I kinda agree with s3v3n, + if the allegations of scamming and usage of leaked assets are true, then ED is actively hurting the LSPDFR community, your community. Turning a blind eye on that is only going to make it worse, less and less devs will trust this website... Just my opinion...

Thanks for the transparency. Your reply actually cleared it up unlike Will who was condescending and made excuse after excuse. He needs re-training in his responses.

I'll reach out the the dev and see if thats what he wants to prosue.

@Back12 posted evidence of ED conducting business on this site. Is that not an enforceable rule since it's not allowed? This guy is actively doing this to multiple people. I get you can't control what's done on discord but at the very least you can control his actions on this site. Or no?
This is very true. I've confirmed this with razer. Razer said he's been banned for using leaks and yet he's still posting razers models on his builds. Crazy.
He gets the site clicks man. That's all they really care about. People don't know better. They see nice screenshots and don't really know the trash behind it. Devs work hard to provide content for free and it's guys like ED whos ruining the reputation of this site and the moderators don't care. I stand by my first comment. He's protected for some odd reason. If only they knew the lies he hides behind.

When I first started modding, he reuploaded one of my vehicles with his texture. I asked him to take it down and he got nasty, saying very questionable things.   It's sad that he allowed to be a cancer to this community.

Please explain to me how someone doing things on Discord, in servers that have zero affiliation with us or in DMs, has anything to do with our site. We already disallow selling mods for exactly this reason.

We don't control discord. What people do outside the site isn't our problem. We are not the modding police.

What exactly would banning him achieve? He would still be free to do everything's he's doing outside the site.

You guys are acting like we're cops who can put people in modding jail. If you feel like a law has been violated contact your local police. Just don't get upset when they laugh at you.

We've also not received any reports about his mods being stolen or using leaked content (or if we have it has already been handled). If you truly believe this report the mods with proof.

Hey guys unfortunately I put in a request for vehicles to be done and fast forward 2 months the work never got done and was scammed out of money from Emergency Distributors. I could only imagine that several people had vehicles before, But my luck with them was no vehicles and dead promises. I should have taken the refund when they first offered "if" it even would have been sent.
By the way that they handle themselves, this isn't the first time they did this and they said it themselves. Not sure how a guy like this is still in the LSPDFR community.
I will let the screenshots speak for themselves.
Please exercise caution while dealing with them, based on the experiences shared above.
    7/7/23 no refund.

Typical attitude from ED. He's known to use leaks as well. He needs to be banned from this website like MU but he has the staff here protecting him so that'll never happen.
