A man has been hospitalized after a car wreck in Alderney.
The LCPD got a call for a car wreck at 7:10 PM on Sunday at the intersection of Sacramento Ave. and Bridger St. in the Leftwood neighborhood of Alderney.
The man was driving a Toyota Camry through the intersection when a silver Jeep Grand Cherokee flew through a red light and into the intersection in front of him, causing him the T-bone the Jeep. There were three college students in the Jeep who were unharmed in the accident. Police think that speed and alcohol played a role in the car wreck.
The LCPD and FDLC blocked off the intersection while they cleared the scene.
