DukSezQuak got a reaction from 10 DAVID 01 for a gallery image, Nature's FlashIt was a storm straight from hell. Los Santos County Police were forced to shut down a large section of highway, and Los Santos County Firefighters had to evacuate numerous low-level residences as rain pounded the county.
Highways flooded and became washed out, and the lightning engulfed the entire sky, providing quick bursts of bright light.
County Officer Mike Litoris is seen in his patrol car blocking off the highway where it has flood just a little bit down from where he's posted. He says in his few years of working with Los Santos County, this has been one of the largest storms he's worked through, and certainly the first that caused evacuations and closures.
Roads are expected to be closed for numerous days and travel will become difficult, while crews wait for the storms to halt, so they can begin repairs.

DukSezQuak got a reaction from GravelRoadCop for a gallery image, Damn.Los Santos County Police Officers were called to assist a fellow officer just after 11 PM after central communications weren't able to complete a status check on the officers unit, and could not reach the officers telephone number.
Communications traced the officers vehicle to a location just off of Great Ocean Highway, at a stand still. The officer was assigned to a high priority emergency call a few miles away.
Upon arrival, officers found the other officer in a damaged and overturned cruiser, unresponsive and unconscious. Ambulance was requested and a Los Santos County Police Sierra arrived on scene, and both of the officers attempted a rescue through the windshield and passenger door of the vehicle. Ultimately, they got the officer out through the side door.
CPR ensued as the officer was not breathing or conscious.
A dashcam video later reveals that while responding with lights and sirens, the officer was forced to make evasive manoeuvres after a motorist in the other lanes swerved into the officers, in an apparent panic of trying to pull over. The officer lost control and ended up rolling down a small hill into a tree.
The officer was transported to a hospital in Los Santos where he later passed due to the extent of his injuries.
The driver of the other vehicle was arrested and charged with dangerous driving causing bodily harm, dangerous driving causing death, dangerous driving causing property damage, dangerous driving causing a collision, driving while disqualified (operator was on a restricted licence, which prevents them from driving between 10 PM and 6 AM), and various other offences.
No further details can be released at this time.

It's classed as, and registered as an off-road vehicle. So, you can do one of two things: get a friend or a cab to come get you, or, start walking."
The vehicle was towed and the operator decided to walk to a nearby gas station to wait for a friend.

DukSezQuak got a reaction from TrentMU for a gallery image, Sirens blaring, nobody's caring.A Los Santos County Police Cruiser responding. A common reason as to why response times are cut down is because drivers fail to yield to emergency vehicles. It's time we start caring when the sirens are blaring.
