DukSezQuak got a reaction from Slendis for a gallery image, Early Morning Search and RescuePolice, Fire and EMS officials were called out to a hiking trail just after 7 AM in Lakeview County, after two teenagers were reported to be in distress.
"We were initially called to a possible disturbance, but when our officers arrived, we determined that there were two teenage girls who were in distress along a mountain trail" Sergeant Jack Schmidt said in a press release.
"We called in the help of local emergency fire and medical services, and deployed our Specialized Support Unit out of the Los Santos Office to attempt to fully locate and recover the teenagers."
Police also deployed the Police Air Unit and a Police Canine Unit, but they were later called off.
"We were able to successfully locate the two girls, who seemed to have slipped down a slope into a wooded area. We're still unsure as to the circumstances behind that."
The two girls were extracted from the ravine by the County Police Specialized Support Unit, and transported to hospital with minor injuries.
"It's very ill advised to travel on pathways that are not lit in the dark, especially if you're unfamiliar with the area." stated Lakeview Parks PO Kayla Venesh.
"It's evident that bad things could happen, and with poor cell service in the area, help could be a long way away. It's believed these two girls spent almost three hours in the ravine crying for help, before someone came along the pathway."
There's no further details regarding what the girls were doing at the time of the slip, nor is it clear how they got there.
They have since been released back to their parents.
