  1. Fundati's post in Ragehook 'Insufficient Permissions or Bad Antivirus' Issue with Epic Games was marked as the answer   
    I've been researching fixes to this issue and cannot find a fix.
     
    I have tried:
    1. disabling windows real-time protection
    2. adding an antivirus exception for the 'RAGEpluginhook.exe' in windows defender
    3. Run Ragehook as Admin
    4. Restarted my computer and tried each step again. I also restarted my computer and tried all steps excluding step 1.
     
    I don't see a lot of people complaining about this issue in 2022, so what might be up with my system?
    I have no external antivirus applications aside from Windows Defender.
    I have no mods downloaded except LSPDFR and Trainer V.
    Its a clean install of GTAV on an external hard drive.
     
    EDIT:
    Alright, found the issue.
    For some reason, RAGEhook doesn't like GeForce Overlay, so I disabled it and it works like a charm.
