Anti-virus software detects LSPDFR (and LCPDFR) as a trojan/virus because (i believe) a file that helps the site make money by ads. The AV believes said file is a virus when it's not.
I can assure you no viruses are in the LSPDFR download. most AV software detect files as a false-postive. there is an alternative if you don't wish to use the ad enabled one. just download the alternative version (clearly marked on the download page).
That being said LSPDFR is a free third party modification for GTA V, you don't need it to play GTA V so you don't need to download it if you don't want to. nobody is forcing you to use it.
EDIT: I should also point out that the ad generated version does nothing. I've used that version since day 1 and no ads spam your page like adware normally does. if an ad does pop up then it's the smallest ad and doesn't interfere with anything. Our main focus here at lcpdfr.com is to develop and give users a law enforcement style mod to play in GTA, that's our main focus.. we have and never will have any interest of infecting peoples PC with harmful viruses.
