    Go to Rage.ini (Picture below) and where it says PluginTimeoutThreshold=10000  change it to PluginTimeoutThreshold=60000.

    The freeze is caused by an overheating of your pc, so if necessary remove some plugins (if you have some) and i recommend at first to disable graphic settings. I recommend to disable all the advanced graphic settings and Vsync (vertical syncronization). To confirm that please tell us what is your graphic card and your processor. You can also come back o preset graphic settings (is the last option).

    Yes i forgot to say to set your timeout to 60000 (ms), how said @IvanOogle
