If you have alot of callout plugins it could cause the crash, try removing some callout plugins and see if it works.

You should be able too see them when you drag them in there and did you copy them to your mods folder? it's always better to do so

You just have to drag the files into the patchday it doesn't have the files regularly, just drop the police files into there.

it could be because of spotlight, mine personally got fixed when I removed the spotlight plugin.

try launching rage as an administrator, mine personally got fixed after a few tries.
