This is something we've thought of before, but to properly implement it (and like some other ideas of adding new filters etc) is contingent on our community-based tagging system that will allow crowd-sourced tagging for older files. This is still in progress.

Virtually everyone has at some point put a vehicle skin onto a vehicle, loaded up in game and seen it’s all messed up and then realised they have the wrong base model.

There are many many skins out there in this website and many many vehicle models. I suggest that a tag for base model is included into the file information section for skins and vehicles so that we can search for downloads by base model type.

Thanks for the info @Transnapastain - it's looking like this is a regional issue with our CDN. I will forward some troubleshooting information to our CDN provider and see if there's anything obvious on our end we can quickly fix or tweak.

What's tending to happen for me is Im getting the download prompt, its beginning the download, and it either fails immediately, or, about halfway through, the estimated time ramps back up until it fails with "Failed - Network error"

I have been able to download very, very small files.
     - I was able to download a 32 kb file - https://www.lcpdfr.com/downloads/gta5mods/datafile/21173-dwardo225s-weapons-rate-of-fire/
     - I was unable to download an 815 mb file - https://www.lcpdfr.com/downloads/gta5mods/audio/26600-no-more-yelling/

    On my end, I have
     - Closed my browser entirely and reopened the site
     - Restarted my computer
     - Cycled my router
     - Tested downloads from other sites

    Appreciate your help!

Edit to add - I was able to get the second file downloaded by telling Chrome to resume the download multiple times, and it finally completed. Of course, that resulted in the files within the download being corrupt

More edit to add - As reported above, I was able to download the same file on Firefox. Heres a report if it helps
