NYC Sheriff
- 295 downloads
This is a skin I made for the current (as far as I know) New York City Sheriff scheme. I give credit to Cj24 as it was his NYPD skin that I modified. I hope I'm doing this right as this is my first skin. I will also upload ped police skins for NYC Sheriff department too. This skin is intended for Cj24's NYPC CVPI that I'm sure you can find.- 5 comments

Hat's Off!
How do I get my cop to not wear a hat? Can I tweak something in Spark IV? Thanks.

Skin's off
I've swapped out some skins and when I bring up the car the skin isn't lined up with the mod. Has this happened before to anyone? Is there a fix? Did I do something wrong?

Please Help
I do that when I install it, right? Sorry I'm not a whiz at computers, but since I ran into LCPDFR I've been learning more just to get it to work. Thanks.

I appreciate your trying to help Tom H, but I downloaded the .NET Framework you sent me and installed LCPDFR .95 went into game pressed Alt + P...and still nothing. Here's the report: BEGIN *SIGNED* LCPD First Response Issue Report Diagnostics Tool Version: 0.4.3 Operating system: Windows7 HomePremium (6.1.0.0 Build: 7600) Service Pack: System RAM (GB): 5.93 CPU cores: 8 NET Framework 4.0 installed: True Visual C++ 2010 Redistributable installed: True GTA IV - Installed: True GTA IV - Install folder: C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Grand Theft Auto IV\GTAIV GTA IV - Version: 1, 0, 7, 0 GTA IV - Asi loader installed: True GTA IV - Asi loader: DSOUND GTA IV - Asi loader valid: True GTA IV - C++ ScriptHook installed: True GTA IV - C++ ScriptHook valid: True GTA IV - C++ ScriptHook version: 0, 5, 1, 0 GTA IV - ScriptHookDotNet installed: True GTA IV - ScriptHookDotNet valid: True End of *SIGNED* LCPD First Response Issue Report Digital signature: Tjs5CYjR3tPLE7kPqOFxyQ== Any ideas? Am I doing something wrong. I really would like to play this as all I'm doing are vigilante missions. I'm about to try PPM but I feel I wont have much luck with that either. Help please? Thanks.

Please Help
I tried installing .95, but it says I need to install .net framework 4.0 full profile. My question is of I have .net framework 4.0 already installed because it was detected as true when I tried installing .91 (but LCPDFR didn't work) Is there a difference between 4.0 and full profile? If I install full profile will it conflict with 4.0 or mess up my PC? I have no idea what these programs are. Thanks.

I'll try it but don't I need to install .net framework full profile for LCPDFR .95? What's the difference between the two and will it mess up my PC? I'm Unfamiliar with these programs. Thanks

Please Help
I installed LCPDFR .91 and started the game. When I pressed Alt + P nothing happened. I tried to force duty and nothing happened. No controls for the mod worked. Here's my report: BEGIN *SIGNED* LCPD First Response Issue Report Diagnostics Tool Version: 0.4.3 Operating system: Windows7 HomePremium (6.1.0.0 Build: 7600) Service Pack: System RAM (GB): 5.93 CPU cores: 8 NET Framework 4.0 installed: True Visual C++ 2010 Redistributable installed: True GTA IV - Installed: True GTA IV - Install folder: C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Grand Theft Auto IV\GTAIV GTA IV - Version: 1, 0, 7, 0 GTA IV - Asi loader installed: True GTA IV - Asi loader: DSOUND GTA IV - Asi loader valid: True GTA IV - C++ ScriptHook installed: True GTA IV - C++ ScriptHook valid: True GTA IV - C++ ScriptHook version: 0, 5, 1, 0 GTA IV - ScriptHookDotNet installed: True GTA IV - ScriptHookDotNet valid: True End of *SIGNED* LCPD First Response Issue Report Digital signature: Tjs5CYjR3tPLE7kPqOFxyQ== I then tried installing again with xliveless and started the game, but instead of loading a saved game it started a new game. My report said I did not have an asi. loader then. I deleted LCPDFR and reinstalled with dsound and still nothing when pressing Alt + P. the same report was issued above. Can someone please help. I went through the checklist of running as administrator, turning off read only, and turned of UAC. My game is legit through steam, but that is shut off as well. Can anyone help please? Thanks. I forgot to mention when I installed it with clueless Alt + P did nothing as well. Clueless is supposed to be xliveless (stupid spell check)

Diagnostic Tool
How does the diagnostic tool work? Do you install it with the game and how do you access the report? I'm still trying to trouble shoot why LCPDFR won't work.
- Number pad?

NYPD Crown Vic
Will ELS v5 work with this: It says ELS-H. I like to use ELS v5 because it's more stable. Thanks

Installation and Report
When you install LCPDFR .91 does .NET Framework 4.0 and C++ automatically install as well? And where can I find the report that I see people posting who have trouble? Thanks.

Ecto-1
How about some call outs of the paranormal. Thought it would be cool if there was an Ecto-1 mod/skin. How did the ghostbusters ever register that thing as an emergency vehicle?

GTA4 & LCPDFR/PPM
Once you install LCPDFR or PPM can you go back and play just regular GTA4 as Niko or do you have to uninstall LCPDFR/PPM and reinstall GTA4 to play the regular game. I'm wondering if you can just switch between the two? Thanks.

Skin Question
I downloaded my first mod and skin. A non-ELS NYPD Impala. Wanted to see if it would work since mods are very foreign to me. I was very delighted to see the cop car cruising down the street. My questions are: Can download more than one skin for a car mod & how? Can you switch skins in game? I'm about to try to download the ELS. I hope it works because LCPDFR .91 crashes the game each time. I've gone through the support forum and checked everything, but can't figure out what's going on. I might give .95 a try.

Windows Live issue
Bought GTA4 from Steam. Game seems to work fine, but my problem is that when I tried to log into Windows Live in order to save it kept saying it needed an update and then said it couldn't install the update. I checked for updates but there weren't any. Then I tried to delete my profile and tried to log into Windows Live through the game, but wouldn't recognize my Window Live user ID. Sort of at a loss here. I can't find anthing like this in the support forum at Windows Live. Anybody know what's going on?

Windows 7
Thanks guys for your input. I've purchased GTA4 from Steam and it's currently on my way to the computer. I've a few of the installation videos on YouTube and will hopefully be playing it tonight.

Windows 7
I almost bought GTA4 but I saw the system requirements said Windows XP or Windows Vista. I have Windows 7 on a Dell XPS15. I wasnt sure if I could download it so I did an internet search and came up with conflicting results. Does anyone know for sure if I can install and succesffuly run this game if I'm running Windows 7? Thanks.

NJ State Police Texture - Ford Crown Victoria (CVPI)
Very nice. The only thing they don't have are the hubcaps. Everything else is spot on. Good job.

Thinking about it
Hi, I'm thinking about purchasing GTA 4 and downloading LCPDFR and becoming part of your community. As an EMT I'm sure there are ambulance mods on here somewhere. I'm hesitant about reading about the issues of error messages and and things not working while trying to install. It seems to be quite a process with installing LCPDFR and then the ELS. Are these issues as bad as they sound and are they common? I ave a few questions concerning gameplay: Is this an online game, can you play offline solo? Do you get a police officers uniform with appropriate weaponry? Are there EMS missions as well? Does this game at all follow the character in GTA 4 or is it independent of that? Thank you. I also enjoy watching the videos on YouTube. Thanks for whoever's putting them out there.
