i7 2600k @ 3.4GHZ, 2GB DDR4 Radeon 6670, 8 GB RAM...1.5GB TB. I Went out and bought the retail DVD version of the game. Installed it. Updated to 1.0.7.0 through GFWL, FPS still was around 28-33, rareley 40 (Extra Sunny, night time is awful.) So it made a little difference then the pirated version, but nothing much. Now, how do I install patch 1.0.4.0 without having to update to 1.0.7.0? Just xliveless.dll version 1.0.4.0 after a fresh install and update of 1.0.4.0? Heard its better for performance. Thanks!

I BOUGHT THE GAMES CD-KEY ONLINE. And no, just the 5 MB .exe file found where the games installed. bump@! It shouldnt be hard to buy a CD key, install an .iso and play it through Windows live that way, i can play online, my game copy is legal.

Someone please im asking; upload your launchGTAIV.exe version 1.0.7.0 to mediafire or something and link me to it, id like to try that first. :)

Yes it is. However Its licensed, I bought a CD key. But okay, I can try a real CD Copy.

or can someone write me a guide on what they did with similar specs if they didnt buy the CD, just have a KEY/Cracked copy? that runs fine? bump!

Computer defrags weekly, scans daily by itself. I'm clean. I'm so confused. I installed an ISO torrent of it, bought a CD key, got a bypass launcher since I do not have disc, but I have a GFWL account and all. What FPS should I be getting, 100? Someone please link me to a LAUNCHGTAIV.exe version 1.0.7.0, my launcher details (under properties) in program files says version one still, yet I KNOW patch 1.0.7. is installed, I ran the diagnostics tool from here + manually installed it by extracting the .msi loader. Anyone care to see my Error Log?

Yes, it is an i7 2600k @ 3.4GHz, 8GB RAM, 2GB Raedon HD 6670 video card, i have the patch.... WHAT AM I DOING WRONG I know its coded poorly, but either way with these specs, it should be a walk in the park. ON MAX graphics settings it only uses 1000mb/2000mb for usage (when it tell you in the graphics menu on GTA IV). Its fine when I walk. Only in cars its choppy and laggy, getting about 22 fps - 30 fps, whereas walking 45+ fps

3.4GHZ, I have that patch. :s im so confused, my hardware playes starcraft II maxed same as diablo 3 etc, but cant function properly with gta? I had to manually install 1.0.7 though.

I dont know what to do. I bought a serial key online, have installed multiple copies trying to get it to run smooth, including installing patches etc. Here is my debugging log. I dont care about online, so is there any other ways i can avoid securom and still have 1.0.7.0 + LCPDFR and it running properly? Thanks!
