Rob412 reacted to Logan96 in Help els not workingThe pack_default folder. And no, just the .xml file if there is one. There should be, if it is an ELS vehicle.

Rob412 reacted to Reddington in Help els not workingFor future reference, Rob, and Logan, please read the read me text document. The readmes that come with ELS and come with ELS models tell you specifically where to place what. I was under the assumption you placed everything in the correct spot having followed the proper instructions.

Rob412 reacted to Logan96 in Help els not workingActually both of the packages that I installed didn't say anything about that at all. The latest package I installed didn't even specify the file directories for the models themselves, but I already knew how to do that so I was good. I guess it's because the mod creators assume that the players already know what they're doing, which isn't always the case. I didn't even figure this out through a readme, I just started file browsing and found it.
As flustered as it makes me that they don't specify this, the models are fantastic and I'm just happy that I got it working for both of us now. So I can't complain. But at least now when someone else has this same issue, they can figure out how to fix it.

Rob412 reacted to Reddington in Help els not workingIn ELS's download, there is a "Documentation" folder. In this folder are three docs, one is a userguide.
Having downloaded almost all ELS cars that have been released, I can tell you most, if not all, came with instructions either in the form of a readme, or by how the path in the download was done. For example, in some downloads, you have to go through one or two folders that are a mirror of your GTA V directory, such as plugins-->LSPDFR. This is their way of showing you where it goes.

Rob412 reacted to CRAWFORDx96 in Help els not workingI read on another ELS thread that ELS 1.05 doesn't support the newest GTA version which is 1103 I think. If that's the case, that might be what my issue is since I am having the same problem. I've got all the *****.xml files in the pack default folder but still no dice. I will look further.
