I'm so frustrated and I just simply want my police light to be exsistant at all. Is there any ELS like mod that doesn't require the seemingly abandoned Scripthook V?

I've tried every single suggestion and tutorial to run my game with backed up version 1290.1 and is simply doesn't work. I get countless errors like GTA exited unexpectedly (before it even starts) I'm only trying to get ELS to work. Maybe lspdfr could build els into the mod because this whole situation just makes the GTA V modding experience really irritating. I know it's free but it takes a lot of time trying all the fixes that people say work but actually don't. The final error that I can't get around.https://imgur.com/gallery/4vOIO

So after I update to the lastest patch if I restore the backup it's supposed to not try not to download the update files?

I can’t get any help in here. Everyone acts like it’s so easy to play a backed up game yet there’s no obvious way to bypass the game from auto updating.

Hello. This is the first time I've tried this as I was really enjoying GTA V with Script Hook V and ELS working perfect. Now my lights don't even show up I know Script hook V isn't updated. So I reverted back successfully to the previous version Scripthookv still supported. But Social Club just trys to download the update again, offline mode doesn't work either as it says you need to activate game. Can someone help? Thanks!!

How long does it usually take for a Script Hook update? Updates are so annoying as I never play online and they never enhance the game only online crap.

Nevermind I replaced the handling data with police 3 and all is good now!

Hello I didn't want to make my own thread as I found this recent one. I installed an impala to police4 slot and it is the only car that tips over in turns out of all my vehicle mods. So it shares the same handling of "police"? What lines in handlingmeta do I need to change? I'm going it needs a lower center of gravity somehow.
