Welcome to the Improved Emergency Liveries Pack! This pack features complete livery and color overhauls for the Ambulance, Fire Truck and Police Maverick in order to modernize and brighten their appearances, bringing these often-overlooked vehicles up to 2008-period accuracy while remaining lore-friendly! I was motivated to make these textures after, well, I grew tired of the dated and somewhat bland Vanilla designs. The Vanilla Ambulance livery is a '90s period piece, seemingly belonging to a lore equivalent of the NYC EMS, which, in reality, was merged with the FDNY in 1998. The Fire Truck falls into a similar trap as well, with '90s-vintage color distribution and, curiously, nowhere on the truck does the word "FIRE" or "FIRE DEPARTMENT" appear, with the exception of the patch- despite "FIRE" text going unused on the actual texture. The Police Maverick's livery is essentially the same as the police cars, down to the "LCPD" text on the side. While this design isn't that bad, it is inaccurate to reality and looks a bit boring- trust me, with my mods, you'll see the difference!
 
This pack features:
 
-New CarCols entries: New colors for all three vehicles- a brighter shade of red for the Fire Truck and Ambulance, and an impressive blue paintjob for the Police Maverick!

-Ambulance livery overhaul: FDLC markings for the Ambulance, along with new "FIRE DEPARTMENT" text, along with the Star of Life actually used by the FDNY! This livery is compatible with any Ambulance mod that uses Vanilla mapping, such as Thundersmacker's Vapid Steed Ambulance. The livery has been included in .dds format for individual replacement.

-Fire Truck livery overhaul: New "FIRE" markings along the side, as well as a tasteful remembrance decal. The "69" number has been changed to be black-and-white. Several smaller details have been added to the truck's rear and control panels, inspired by markings seen on actual FDNY trucks.

-Police Maverick livery overhaul: A cleaner, higher-quality livery, with "POLICE" text becoming more prominent.

-Vanilla style: Blends seamlessly into the game world, and looks like it's been there since launch day!

-Handling improvements for Ambulance and Fire Truck: Improved durability for the rigors of rescue!

The Alderney State Troopers have always been in need of an overhaul. From the start there was barely any uniform variety, simply consisting of a (well-appointed and quality modeled) NJSP-style shirt and tie and a jacket copy-and-pasted from the LCPD, albeit with incorrect, lower-quality textures. But hey, let's be grateful that Rockstar added State Troopers separate from the LCPD- can you imagine if the LCPD patrolled Alderney in the final game? The thought of that keeps me up at night. Fortunately, that's not the case, and today I bring you a mod that brings the State Troopers up to par with the LCPD!
 
Welcome to the Enhanced State Troopers mod for Grand Theft Auto IV! This mod brings a much-needed improvements to M_Y_STROOPER, adding new head models and uniforms as well as props! While Rockstar did give us good assets, namely the props, shirt and head models, everything else on the vanilla trooper is very much the result of hurried last-minute development, with incorrect textures on the jacket as well as only a single head model. This mod aims to overhaul all of this as well as adding new content.
 
This pack features:
 
-Brand-new uniforms- New uniforms and textures, including body armor and tactical pants with correct normal and specular layers.
-Custom Pedprops- New hats for rainy weather as well as tactical helmets and goggles!
-New head models- Added two new head models for additional spawning variety.
-Custom pedvariations.dat- Custom entires for uniform variety, including jackets spawning on patrolling cops as well as hats during the rain!
-Custom pedpersonality.dat- Increases health of State Troopers for greater resilience from injuries!
 
I have more additions to this pack planned, such as high-visibility jackets and NJSP-style coats. I also have two (2!) LCPD versions in the works, so stay tuned!

BUGS/GLITCHES:
-The eyes on the Latino trooper stick out a bit at times. This is just an issue with adding this particular head to the .wft, as the other mods I looked at had a similar issue, so it's not a big deal.
-The sunglasses clip through the nose of the new White head a bit.
-Make sure you have hats enabled in simple trainer in order to make your character wear the new hat and helmet! As they do not have additonal hats by default, you need to make this change in order to equip the new headgear.

WHAT'S NEW - VERSION 1.1

Welcome to the Police Hat Texture Fix for GTA IV! This mod replaces the broken vanilla hat diffuse texture with the correct beta texture that I just found!
 
For some reason, Rockstar decided at one point to change the diffuse texture for the hats worn by fit cops, and turned the hat device into a mirrored version of the actual design. Amusingly, however, overweight cops and even the traffic cops have the correct NYPD-style hat device, but the fit cops got the short end of the stick. Fortunately though, all was not lost.
 
I recently started making custom .wdd files for pedprops.img, and a few hours before writing this I was scrolling through OpenIV, looking for good meshes I could use. I absent-mindedly opened up m_m_alcoholic.wdd, remembering his traffic cone hat and wanting to take a look at it- What I didn't expect to find was his other hat- a lopsided police cap- let alone the beta LCPD hat texture it used! This texture actually matches the normal and specular layers present in m_y_cop_p.wtd, and is a welcome improvement over the final texture.
 
This pack features:
-The beta LCPD hat texture as seen on billboards, in-game TV and other beta materials.
-Full .wtd replacement or individual textures - Regardless of whether you use the vanilla .wdd or a custom version, there's an installation path for you.
-BONUS: Custom Mirrored Aviators- Just a little extra for y'all. If the standard bronze sunglasses aren't your speed, here's something with a bit more gleam to it. 
 Available as a full .wtd replacement or individual textures. The .wtd Includes the hat fix.

Ooboyle, sorry if i misspeled your name... Is the creator of the car's mod, this mod is just a texture mod.
 
UPDATE: THIS MOD IS ONLY FOR OLDER VERSIONS OF THE MOD, IT WILL NOT WORK WITH THE FINAL VERSION!
 
So this mod is a texture for my favorite Declasse Merit (police2), I had ideas of making one for vapid (police1) but i got lazy(
Soo.. the idea of creating this mod got into my idea when i tried to install some texture mod for vanilla cars, but it didn't work because Vanilla ELS cars has their own texture template and only Vanilla ELS's textures work... Ummm yeah.
 
Umm.. that's all, i made those textures in GIMP, i am not a modder or an experienced spriter so don't judge much, but i just felt like i have to upload because for me - Those textures are dope.
 
What's the diffirence between those textures and those that come with Vanilla ELS textures?
-Everything can be seen on screenshots, The stickers on the bumper, Diffirent text on the hood.. I also moved that "CPR" text up a bit. 

Cop-shot and athletics league stickers are grabbed from google pictures and photoshopped by me into the car texture with GIMP, and the text made by me, i literally wrote "NYPD font" it gave me Sans Serif. I downloaded the font and made the text, The text on the hood is inspired by how it looks 
 
Credits: Credit to Abraxas and his vdH's Textures for Vanilla Cars (sorry if i misspeled this mod name), On the screenshots i use the indicator and other light's textures from that mod, I also heavily recommend you to install those lights from that mod, because they are dope.
 
I don't know why but i have a feeling that i have to say that you should use those textures with some "SS2000 Rumbler" siren mod, there are alot of them but... Eeh i don't remember which one i personally use, but mine is a bit edited with some .vaud editor because i changed some sirens to better ones.
 
Installation: read ReadMePlease.txt in the zip file. In the zip you can find folder named "Thick Text" i recommend this livery because it is a copy of the first livery of PCT 38, but with thicker and better-looking text on the hood. 
I wanted to put .wtd files into the zip to make installation easier, But i am afraid of copyrights because my .wtd has vdH's lights textures.
 
What is this "patrol supervisor" livery on the third screenshot?
Umm.. So basically i was trying to make it work with Area Livery, but i didn't understand how this mod works so i abandoned this idea... So umm if you have Area Livery mod you may use those additional merit sign .dds files if you want, The two are just the same texture but with diffirent Precint Number, except that the second one has the underlined numbers like on non-modded vanilla merit textures, And the third one has "PCT 16" text and a text saying "Patrol Supervisor" which is inspired by NYPD patrol supervisor cars.
 
To be honest, i do not recommend you to use those extra liveries because they just don't look cool, The text is very skinny and just doesn't look cool, If you are going to use just one livery then use that "Thick Text" one because it's my favorite.

Now you can rest assured that your neighborhood banks, oil refineries and even your own apartment are protected under the watchful eyes of your very own Gruppe Sechs Armed Response Security Officer!
 
I know I'm not the first person to address the problems surrounding GTA 4's security guards, but since I decided to come up with my own fix, I figured I might as well share what I came up with. I created an improved Gruppe Sechs security guard, with simple tweaks to improve behavior and animations in a manner that totally overhauls their role, as well as retextured clothing and details designed to evoke modern corporate security services in the style of companies like Securitas and Allied Universal.
 
This pack features:
 
-New guards with modernized uniforms- These new guards are ready for action with body armor and utility belts, while higher-ranking personnel wear jackets and ties.
-Custom Pedprops- Choose from either the original riot helmets or a peaked cap and baseball cap!
-Friendly behavior- No more three-way firefights. Security Guards will now rush to assist the player and police to help fight criminals!
-Better movement- Uses police animations, allowing them to sprint after suspects, roll to cover and fire faster and more accurately than before.
-Enhanced abilities- Attacking a guard with a firearm will result in a three-star wanted level. Security Guards will also report any crime committed in their line-of-sight as well as chase and search for the player when wanted, expanding the reach of law enforcement in LC and Alderney and greatly enhancing security at places like the Acter Industrial Park and FIA. 
-Security livery for Ooboy's enhanced LCPD cars- A made-from-scratch livery for G6 that draws inspiration from other Gruppe Sechs vehicles such as the Securicar!
-Retexture for m_m_armoured- A .WTD file that retextures the normal Armoured Guards with my custom textures!

Simple script mod that replaces the toll booth cop peds with traffic cops, instead of whatever's loaded into memory at the time thru pedgrps.
 
Only tested on patch 1080 so let me know how it works in the other versions if you're trying.

Make sure to check the readme for install instructions and always back up your original files.

This mod brings all GTA IV original emergency vehicles but this time working with ELS!
 
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
 
- This mod uses vanilla handling.dat and vehicles.ide files (I included them in case you don't have backup of those files)
 
- POLICE3 and POLICEB works only on EFLC (unless you change the name and replace them as other cars)
  You can also Use the mod "More Vehicles" By Custo to install them.
 
- It is important that you install the ELS.ini files correctly for each vehicle, otherwise the lighting may not work properly
 
- Make sure to backup your files. (If for some reason your game breaks then thats not my problem)

- ELS Version 8.51 is needed for the Emergency Lights to work properly.
 
- Ensure you install the provided ELS config files properly, or the emergency lighting may not function properly.
 
- Also make sure you install the data lines I provided, or the vehicles could not function properly.
 
- Please back up your files. I am not responsible for any issues with your game caused by improper installation.
 
About This Modification:
 
- This Package contains 3 vehicle models
 
1998 Ford Crown Victoria P71 - Port Authority of New York and New Jersey Police Department 1999 Ford Crown Victoria P71 - New York City Police Department 2001 Chevrolet Impala 9C1 - New York City Police Department  
- Vehicles were designed to resemble their real counterparts as close as possible
 
- Fully functional vehicle features (Working collisions, breakable glass, working lights, etc)
 
- Properly optimized LODs for better performance
 
- Camera offset has been properly adjusted
