This mod simulates the flight patterns of Southern California (more specifically, Los Angeles area) law enforcement air support helicopters. That is, they will orbit around a target entity or position instead of just hovering above. A spotlight will track the subject when night-time. You may also call for a backup heli anytime while on-duty.
 
 
 
A Must-Have For Realistic Gameplay!
 
 
 
 
Make sure to put HeliAssistance.dll and HeliAssistance.ini and HeliAssistance.pdb into \Plugins\LSPDFR folder.
Make sure you have the latest RageNativeUI installed. And make sure you have Spotlight installed.
 
API for Developers (for usage with v2.4.2)
Take a look at the INI at least once to make sure you are satisfied with the settings.

I don't know about you but I'm tired of seeing the same cops every time I play. So i decided to add some variants to them. This does include male and female variants.
 
This mod is not done because I could not think of anymore hair styles please comment recommendations below.

1. Download 2016 Ford Police Interceptor Vehicle from LSPDFR.COM
 
 
2. Install 2016 Ford Vehicle mod. Use Read Me instructions.
 
    3. Launch OpenIV and in edit mode go to:
       Grand Theft Auto V\mods\update\x64\dlcpacks\patchday10\dlc.rpf\x64\levels\gta5\vehicles.rpf

    4. Using OpenIV open police3.ytd file.

    5. Find texture with word sign in it and choose it.

    6. Press replace button (if there isn't one, turn on Edit mode) and choose Texture.png
    
    7. Close OpenIV and enjoy the game. (To spawn vehicle open RagePluginHook console and type "spawn police3" without quotes)

Police Bicycle
 
This is a custom Police skin for the Scorcher, the mod also comes with a addons such as water bottles and a Police utility bag located behind the seat. 
 
Installation
 
USE YOUR MODS FOLDER  Locate x64e.rpf>levels>gta5>vehicles.rpf Then replace all the 'scorcher' files with the ones I have supplied in the 'Police Bicycle' folder

This is a texture closely based on Bloomingdale IL's PD skins. It is 4k as well as lore friendly. Each model is also the models that they use as well. I plan to add a K-9 unit as well.

Modding DLC Pack V allows for a simplified installation process of peds, weapons, vehicles and meta file entries - both for addons and replacements.
 
After installing the Modding DLC Pack V OIV file, you can do the following, all from one central folder:
Install unlimited addon/replacement peds and addon peds.meta entries; Install replacement weapons; Install unlimited addon/replacement vehicles including support for vehicles.meta, carvariations.meta and handling.meta; Add custom names to your (addon) vehicles; Easily restore all of the above after a GTA 5 update.  
Please ensure to carefully read the supplied README.pdf file for tutorials and guides on how to do all of the above. I have also done a video tutorial series (see above) showing how to perform all of the above properly.

This is called "Drop The Weapon!" and it allows you to disarm Peds and order them to drop the weapon!

Here's a collection of skins I made for personal use. I decided to release them since T0Y released his ELS Bearcat. 
These skins are lore friendly and are 2K. There's 1 skin per vehicle except for the SAHP. There are 3 SAHP skins,
two black, one white. That way there's a 1 in 3 chance of a white SAHP Bearcat.
This file includes blue light textures if you want to convert the lights to all blue. 
I've also included the light textures (Credit to T0y)
 
I've included 2 VCF Files: 
    redandblue.xml -    Edited t0y's original to add blue environmental lights.
    allblue.xml -        All environmental lights are blue / amber. No red.
 
Feel free to modify these skins as you want. If you have any request, let me know and I'll see about getting it done. And PLEASE don't redistribute this anywhere as your own. Only reupload it if you've made changes. And proper credit is appreciated.
