When i made some bad mod installs i had to use GTAV_Setup_Tool.exe to restart. Problem after that was that Social Club still thought I had the newer version of the game, so it wouldn't update.
I had to modify some things in the registry:
1) enter in regedit (windows + R -> regedit.exe)
2) go to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Wow6432Node
3) If you don't have the "Rockstar Games" folder, you should make one by right click-ing the Wow6432 folder and selecting new key. You should rename this key with "Rockstar Games". After that, you should make another key in "Rockstar Games" named "Grand Theft Auto V".
4) Enter the "Grand Theft Auto V" key in registry and add a new string value with the name "InstallFolder" and the value for this should be your path where you have your game installed."
Social club would then update the game to the latest patch.
I'm just waiting to update my game to version 1180 because you need Rage plugin hook to support the latest version (which it does now)
You also need ScripthookV to support version 1180 (No update atm)
Untill someone else on this board says otherwise, you can try my steps. There might be an easier way that's all...
