    Just a quick question for you, Are you running GTAIV on Compatibility Mode? If so, which operating system are you running? Because i was searching through the forums and found a possible solution for you, if you are running compatibility under Windows Vista, Change that setting to Windows 7, That seems to be correcting the issue and it worked for me when i suffered the same issue a few hours ago. Hope this helps you!

    I recently downloaded 1.0b and when i install it manually or automatically, a message comes up saying GTA IV has stopped working, do i need the original 1.0 download or could it be to do with me using gta IV on steam.
