I did all the steps in the follow up post & every time I go into EUP & select this in my wardrobe, the game throws up the corrupt data message. So I took the code out of wardrobe.ini & tried creating it myself but the game crashes (no surprises there). While I'm here, I haven't got the other NSW uniform items working either in EUP.

There's some British audio out there but it chops & changes between the original audio & the replacement in the one I downloaded. Also, the same guy in the same voice is both dispatch & the answering officers which is annoying.

Speaking of small police departments, I must remember to see if someone's modelled the General Lee.

I'm learning about saving vehicles into slots. What vehicles do you have in what slots? I'm trying to get it right early so the right cars are in the right slot to do the right job in my NSW universe.

I've been practising my arrest procedures on the Metro. I arrested two people at the same time (one was wanted for a drug warrant) & I ordered multiple single transports. First one arrived OK & the one for the guy with the warrant arrived at the pickup point on its roof. Oops.

With the exception of the CountryLink logo, this is the current XPT livery.

It's amazing how much easier things are with a second screen. Somehow with the second screen, things are making sense & I can now added modded files to the game! I've got a few cars & buildings installed now but need to do some minor things including making the cars appear to have the correct red/blue lights. Think I might get the police slots filled then worry about the meta files etc.

Every time I try to download Siren Mastery & extract the .rar file, I get an error.

My original plan was to have a NSW LSPDFR universe. A week in & I haven't been able to get things working in mods folder but am OK with getting scripts & plugins working. A major aim was to get rid of the different departments feel of the place & have the one service. I found the UK vehicle packs & other things that I can install (.ovi files). So my world has a part UK, part US & part real world feel with the various things I've added. I'm practicing & working on trying to get keys etc working but it's been an interesting first week. I don't know if I'm pushing things but I'd love to see a NSW .ovi installer with all of the various NSW files (police & non police) as using the mods folder way is too complicated for me right now. I want to play, not code. I've got 19 hours up in a week.

Well, I can go on duty now. Cleared my exceptions on my anti virus & added the various .exe files myself & all good. Let the modding begin!

Speaking of OMSI, I'm getting error messages but they are in German so I don't know what they mean. Still trying to get LSPDFR working. Ironically, normal GTA works & I got shot by the cops while involved in a fight at Davis train station.

Here's some of what I've been up to in between trying to get LSPDFR to work. As you might be able to tell, I'm into simulated role playing games. My computer's been installing updates for the last 2 hours. It's probably catching up with updates because it is new & hardly been turned off since installation.

So frustrating. I feel like offering someone a slab of beer or a bottle of spirits & asking them to set LSPDFR up for me & being able to play the game. I wish installing things was easier even for the vanilla version!

It was my computer system from Scorptec. For something large & expensive like a computer system, a signature should be compulsory.

I'll have to double check that when I get home.

Computers are strange things. My inital install of World Of Subways 3 didn't work & it does now after a re-install. My initial install of LSPDFR worked & now it doesn't. No prizes for guessing what I'll be doing tonight. Now it's Monday, I'm going to chase up why my new computer was left unattended by the courier on my front patio.

First big drama tonight. Tried to install some mods then it says that things are corrupt. Did some troubleshooting & now LSPDFR only gets to the "Finding Game Window" dialogue & crashes. It says GTA V has stopped working. GTA itself works, though. So how did you spend 5+ hours on a Sunday night? I spent it on a game that I can't (hopefully only for the moment) can't play.

First car mod installed, you guys! I installed Moose's HSV HWP car. Assisted at an arrest by pulling a guy out of the car at Los Santos airport. Managed to install EUP OK. Thought I did the NSW uniform pack done OK but don't know how to get it working.

I don't mind that look but I like the look of our vehicles & liveries over there better. How American emergency services are set up compared to ours always amazes me. I couldn't imagine the same sort of thing here.

In theory, the bottom of the doors should line up with the platform just like the metro train does. The envelope of the train would be lower & higher. I haven't worked out if a double decker train will fit in Los Santos.

Well that was an interesting experience. New computer set up & I now have a very vanilla LSPDFR installed. I wish I could have skipped the GTA opening story mode, though. So far so good with the computer being able to cope with the game. Tonight after work, I'll install my first Australian car & go on duty.

Metro. I did see a mod on my list that allows for a longer metro train. I'll have to look. I'll even volunteer to test drive it for you. 😃

My new computer arrived 15 minutes after I left to go to work this afternoon. Luckily, someone was home & paying attention because the courier arrived, left it on my front patio & left. Earlier in the week with the same delivery company, I had to sign for a 7 port USB hub but not a computer system. No prizes for guessing what I'll be doing after work tonight!

Merely from watching Darkmyre's videos, I can tell that female officers wearing Australian uniforms would be nice.

I noticed a Canadian double decker bus while looking around for things to download. Bus spotters would go mad if they saw this in an Australian skin. There's a few modern double deckers running around now in various Australian cities.
