    Use the latest ELS IV (8.51)
    Go to your GTA Root folder and open ELS.ini with notepad. Hold CTRL and press F and type "Ai_Els_Sp" without the quotes and hit enter.
    It will highlight a line with the same thing you just typed - next to it should be a value of 1. Change that to 0, save and exit.
    Not go back to your GTA root folder and delete the files oldsession.fr and Savegame.fr.
    It should work.

    i have been searching for a while now and i can't pinpoint this problem exactly. how long do you actually get to play the game before it crashes? by that i mean do you get to actually get in a cruiser and go on patrol? did you try uninstalling that car pack that you used right before the crash and then try to play? because if the game was playing just fine and you added something right after that, its a possibility there is the problem. lemme know what happens
