New delivery for Anchorage Alaska Fire Rescue, features all new LED lighting as well as fuel efficiency.  

New delivery from Rosenbauer Fire Apparatus to Plano Fire Rescue. The apparatus has a rear-mount Waterous CX 1,250-gpm pump, 500 gallons of water in a polypropylene tank, and a 30-gallon foam tank. It is powered by a 400-hp Cummins ISL engine and an Allison EVS3000 transmission with a touchpad shifter.

LCFD finished final inspection at the Pierce authorized dealer in northern Alderney. Engine 601 was delivered to its home around 10pm and will be stocked and in service next shift.

Thanks to the boys at Pierce Manufacturing, LCFD will be getting a new delivery of a 2011 Pierce Rescue sitting on a Velocity cab. With the new TAK-4 suspension and all new compartment options LCFD is happy to be putting it in service come the next few weeks.
