  1. oh wow. I would say that is the game maybe. If its steam, verify integrity of files.
  2. Usually your monitor / TV will output at either 30/60Hz. What V Sync will do is ensure your FPS (Frames Per Second) do not exceed the Hz. If the game is producing more FPS than your monitor can handle i.e say 60hz then you will get screen tear.
  3. I do yes. Two EVGA GTX980 SC OS .. The second was an accidental buy. When I turn v Sync off in control panel, I'm getting over 120FPS.
  4. I've found something one of the member on here is going to jizz over xD
  5. Hopefully we wont have to wait too long. But the more I see screen shots of these mods, the more I want :(
  6. Shouldn't accept the OS loading up GPU drivers though. Have you tried reinstalling your old AMD, then reinstalling the new nVidia card?
  7. I want that LAPD Charger from IV looks sexy. I hope one day, we will have all the ELS, the cars, everything we have in GTA IV, but in GTA V. Well, everyting except the terrible game mechanics and poor FPS.
  8. Cannot come quick enough... That's what she said xD
  9. scrap that. Somehow my second GTX980 was not enabled via SLI, must of been a driver update I've just seen had installed a few hours ago xD I'm back at max settings pulling over 100FPS again :) Even tho i lock them in control panel to 60
  10. Hmmm.. So yesterday was getting around 120 FPS on GTA with mine maxxed out. Did a fresh install of GTA today and suddenly, despite being on the same settings and no hardware or driver change I'm now getting 55FPS. This is annoying.
  11. Scrap that. Everythings working as it should. That was easy. Just running out of SSD Space :o
  12. I've created the mod folder and copied over the RPFs etc. However, what happens when I come to install LSPDFR and the other scripts?
  13. I don't know what else to suggest :/ All out of ideas. Sorry
  14. What car is that? Looks awesome, and that light bar!
  15. Okay once the fresh install is downloaded, I'll get started again xD Thanks for your help bud. I could just copy over the files that are already modded into the mod folder from the other install I have.
  16. I'll have a look into that. Ideally was looking for the easiest way, being lazy ya' know! If I use a mods folder, there's a few programs out there that will actively disable the mods folder. I'm still used to the old fashion way.
  17. Hey, Any joy since last night? =[
  18. Afternoon guys & gals. Sorry if his has already been posted. However, I want to be able to also play GTA Online without fear of being banned, because R* made the wrong decision by not making GTA two separate installs. Anyway, I have GTA on Steam, I have copied a fresh install of GTA onto a separate SSD called GTA:O and have another SSD called GTA:Mod where my modded install is. I've blocked GTAV.exe and GTAVLauncher.exe from my Firewall, so shouldn't be able to connect to internet. However, how do i go about being able to run the modded GTA on it's own? As I'm concerned Steam will have a hissy fit and won't let it run. Many thanks <3
  19. Sounds like your drivers aren't being removed correctly. Found this online Let me know how you get on. I'd suggest maybe doing the same for those pesty AMD drivers. Also, are you running the install in Admin mode? Not sure if this application would help - http://www.guru3d.com/files_details/display_driver_uninstaller_download.html
  20. No, I even punched my computer. I don't recommend it.. Didn't get control panel opened. If you need any more help, holla!
  21. No don't do that! - Go back to Windows 7 that is. I too had Windows 10 stopping me from opening control panel. It means your nvidia drivers are not installed, it's still using Windows. I had same issue. Go into control panel, force uninstall the drivers and then run the file from nvidia website. Took me a few attempts, but I did it eventually and now I'm running flawless.
  22. I'm the same as you right now. A lot of the mods I regularly use are being updated with v22 but a lot of call outs and others do not. If its not broke, don't fix it I guess.
  23. I had the same issue when I first started running two 980 in SLI. Is it random green textures? Not sure how I resolved it. Have you tried running installing the drivers completely including deleting all traces of them? NVidia has just released a new driver today for Windows 10. Finally, make sure you're not exceeding the VRAM threshold.
