Well whoopdy fuckin do lemme guess you're playing on the steam version right? Everyone with the disk version is fucked, YET AGAIN.
  2. Izhevsk replied to sjain's topic in Legacy
Yes, I'm aware of that thing they released. It does NOT WORK. Well, it does, it reverts back to version 573 or whatever, HOWEVER, the Rockstar launcher then takes over and RE-DOWNLOADS the update, so it doesn't work.
  3. Izhevsk replied to sjain's topic in Legacy
Not everyone is using the Steam version. The revert DOES NOT WORK. RPH shut down their website too, if you haven't noticed.
  4. This does not work. And I like how the RPH assholes shut down their site too. Looks like Rockstar just killed modding today.
  5. EDIT: It reverts to 573 like it says, THEN the Rockstar launcher takes over and forces you to re-download the goddamn update, and we're back to square 1................

This happens every time theres a stupid GTA Online update. RPH is a piece of shit that never works. You can backup your old game all you want, but the revert never works. Basically cockstar is forcing unwanted updates on us and ruining the modding community. Makes GTA unplayanle on PC.
  7. Looks awesome. Makes the regular insurgent look like a baby! Any chance at an LSPD/SWAT or NOOSE version?
  8. I guess no one has any ideas. I'm stumped. I refuse to sit here for another 4 hour reinstalling this piece of shit game. I guess I'm done with GTA. oh well, it was fun for a week before rockstar ruined it again for the millionth time
  9. Yeah I'm using the RDE mod and a few others. Also gun and sound mods. It gets all the way up to loading and pupulating game world then after that crashes to desktop. I'm disappointed no-one on here can help me. I don't know how all these big time YouTubers have no problems at all and people like us get screwed every update.
  10. After this latest update the game is crashing on loadup. I've updated RPH, scripthook V, scripthookdotnet, my mods, ect. Rage Plugin Hook is not generating an error report like its supposed to either so Im at a total loss. Any ideas?
  11. Hey everyone, I'm a little stumped on editing the weapons data as far as magazine size goes. I found the original "clip size" value, and can change that no problem. but what I cannot find is the value for the extended magazine mod you get at ammu-nation. For example, I'm using an AKMS mod, and that has a standard 30rd mag and a 75rd drum, and I can't find the value to change the extended clip size to 75 (default is 60 for the assault rifles) Any help would be appreciated! Thank you.
  12. I'm having an issue getting my scripts to work. All I'm using is simple native trainer right now, which is normally started with F4 Here's what I have: Windows 10 x64 "scripts" folder .net framework 4.5 c++ 2013 scripthookV scripthook.net d8input.dll scripthookdotnet.asi A few months ago, everything was working fine. Any ideas?
  13. Ok, cool thanks. Another question, my scripts aren't working. I have scripthook and all that and the scripts folder, but for example the trianer won't pop up when I hit f4.

  15. Hello all, I recently got back into GTA, after the last lowrider update destroyed my mods, I was wondering what al I need to make backups for in order to play after the next update. I'm using the mod folder method in Open IV, so I've already made a copy of that, but what else do I need?
  16. Not playing GTA V anymore since I'm sick of having unwanted useless DLC crammed down my throat and breaking all my mods. GTA IV FTW
  17. All I'm saying is these "free" updates should be optional. Thats like having a perfectly good running car and then the car company says "hey we are gonna go ahead and rip your entire drive train apart and install a new one, so yeah, step aside please"
  18. Are we really going to have to reinstall every single mod (cars peds guns ect) everytime there is in update? This is unacceptable.
  19. I got you, that's why I said (or rather wished) that there was literally a singleplayer only version of the game to tinker with, or like some "offline" version, that way you please both sides. That said, I played GTAO for almost 2 years non stop on X360 and X1, and it just isn't fun for me and alot of other people anymore. Now if you'll excuse me, I'm going to reinstall the entire game and try to get my mods working again.

  22. Except they ARE doing the shit on purpose and they DO hate modders. Look at LSPDFR for example. x50000 more fun that shitty ass GTA Online and its FREE. Not to mention things like trainers which allow you do to WHATEVER you want in the game and have any type of fun you want for as long as you want. What did rockstar give us... a lousy infinite health cheat code that lasts 5 mins. This latest DLC is even more proof. The lowrider cars aren't even available for single player. People would rather get the PC version of the game, mod it to their choosing, and play and have fun. Not be restricted to the garbage console version with nothing to do that gets boring in 2 months. Now, take a look at GTA 4. The game was out for years, no updates that ruined modding, even the file structure was easy to understand, now we have 30 different places to put things in Open IV and its a pain in the ass. GTA 4s online was free and fun, then Rockstar realized they could make money off of it from little kids and here we are today. You wake up one morning, and are forced to download a DLC patch that you don't want, and boom... your game wont even start anymore. So I'm stuck with a broken game, and for how long... who knows. My only option is to reinstall the game from scratch and lose all the 100s of mods that took me days to install. Yeah, no thanks. Might as well play the shitty console version. My point is, Rockstar SAYS they don't care about modding, but thats it. Their actions prove otherwise. They hate modding because it takes away from the GTAO playerbase, which costs them cashcard $$$. So they release updates that break the game for PC modders like myself. ARMA 2 and ARMA3 are good examples of game companies (Bohemia) listening to their fans. %100 mod support, and their patches and updates dont break the game for modders on purpose like rockstar does.
  23. Be glad you can even play, for those of us that modded the game (cars guns peds ect) its completely ruined and I can't play anymore
  24. Well obviously it's fucking impossible to "back up" anything with this game since as soon as you start it it will automatically update. And you CAN NOT play AT ALL unless you are connected to the internet. Even using the mod folder method, I'm still screwed since somehow it effects those files too. There should be a single player only version of GTA free from this childish online shit. Now everyone who modded their game has two options: reinstall the entire game and play the boring vanilla version, or wait god knows how long for the PRH and Scripthook to be updated, and even then you STILL have to reinstall all of your mods.
