Still doesnt work. Same problem of crashing.
Everything was move and that folder was empty. I ran the game and still doesnt work.
This sucks, what the heck is going on, it was running fine, now this is just complete bs out of my system.

So, deleting which I will be putting somewhere else then the savegame location? That is found in Documents > Rockstar games > Savegames right? Just take that one out of there?

I'm betting my money on a corrupt savegame. Try deleting the savegame file, and start a new one, see if that does it.

Oh goodness. I deleted the xlive.dll from my recycle bin, Ahhhh. I always like to keep my PC clean and delete w/e that is in the bin. What should I do now? Oh man....

Ah no, Not that I know of, I only saved once so far since I return to the game and it was while I was OFF duty. I did use a copy of the SaveGames data i got off of GtaInside.com, i reformatted my computer and so i put that save game files and data to my savegames directory.......but that shouldn't be the problem, it was there for days now and nothing happened until just now.

Nope, still doesn't work. Same error occurs. It just crashes at the load of game at the 3rd Picture load frame.

I have both. Both of dsound.dll and xlive.dll.

The other Topic had no reply, and I was guessing it fall into the wrong category, so I waited a bit, and then started a new one mainly on my GTA4 Crash. Since the other topic was focus on another title. If I am breaking the rules, than G17 Media will terminate one of the topics, and I apologize for that.

After I press "Start" the game loads, and it loads up to a point where it just crashes. I notice that it loaded 3 pictures at the loading frame, and it was getting ready to load my loaded game, but it couldn't and the game crashed. But that might not be the reason why I think. Before this, It was working fine, until it frozed in the game after about 7 mins of gameplay.
So now my vehicles.img is all back to original, No modded cars, all I have is 4 weapons modded, ELS V6, LCPDFR installed, TrafficFlow, IVDashCam 2.1. Thats all. This is very strange, since this just happen out of nowhere.
