Well the game is technically out already so it's available to play with all the bits and pieces on console, if the game was unreleased to all it'd be a huge kick to the... whatever you appear to have (You may want to get that checked out man). Yes, the extension in time is a huge pain but on the upside it's extra PC planning and investment time and once it's here and we've filled time with some game play we'll thank R* for taking the time to polish it because if they do it right the delay wont matter because we'll be playing it and modding it for years to come. I'd rather have this game polished and full of potential than rushed but playable now, I'm looking at you GTA IV! *Scowls*. I assure you I saw the new date of release and it made me want to head butt the nearest wall. To put it into perspective not 15 minutes before I found out about the delay of GTA I had just passed my driving theory exam... and I didn't care about my exam pass because GTA HAD BEEN MOVED FORWARD. Count the days, count the minutes... count what you must but it'll be worth it. Famous last words? Time will indeed tell!

Getting a new PC and monitor specifically for GTA V myself, I'm spending around £1500 on the PC I just hope that'd be enough to get decent performance out of the game.

Will absolutely do this :) I'll pre order a little closer to the release time but I'm really pleased to see there will be a switch to GTA V, the amount of potential is huge. If the community pulls together we can make really make 'LSPD:FR' the best it can be!

Well first I need to completely rehaul my everything, new desk, chair, monitor and of course PC. I'll be basically buying my new PC for GTA 5 but since I'm sure the top end requirements will be fairly high it'll stand good ground for future games as well... that being said of LSPD:FR comes out I'm going to be stuck to it for the foreseeable lifetime :D

Rockstar will let the specs out pretty soon I'd imagine and when they're out it wont be hard to hear about them

I'm in two minds about them, I think they're 10x better intelligence wise about not running into fire but since they don't arrest anymore it begs the question if LSPD:FR goes ahead will we be the only cops patrolling and will we even be able to do anything since there's no arrest animations that can see? What with first person and tazers a lot of the work is done for us already but some critical parts seem to be missing unless they're inactive and buried in the games code. My scapegoat is always "Improved AI for the PC version".

I think that'll greatly screw the chances of this happening if the animations and voices are not there to draw on, unless they're purely fan made and voice recorded. Who knows, I say just wait for the PC release and go from there. Improved AI may mean better police and more lines (Chances are slim slim slim but who really knows?)

Exactly what I've been thinking, there is no pullover speech. I've never seen a pedestrian get frisked or a vehicle pulled over for that matter. Cops on here seem to be trigger happy 100% although they say that the PC version has improved AI on the way... I doubt this will be in the way of adding anything such as police patrol and such, who knows it's a vague possibility?

I don't think it'll lose attention completely, some may prefer patrolling the streets of LC. I wish they'd kept the pudding car handling though and not made it so 'arcadeish' kinda makes pitting more of a pain and cars can take a lot more of a beating too. People will play what they prefer :)

Hey guys first time post here, I've been trying for the past few weeks to figure out how the police behave in GTA V and more or less how they'll react in any possible LSPD:FR mod. Well I've been searching up for info and found this video below with a good 40 minutes of police quotes ranging from the pulling over procedure to more complex situations.
