I know this guy from high school that might be able to build a PC for me, but I'm not totally sure yet. I might get a SSD as well, any suggestions? I'm going to use my GTX 750 for now, but I'll upgrade to something nicer this summer.

Well technically he is building his own, its just one of those combo packs DIY things. And get a 2GB VRAM card.

How long will it be up and how big is the download?

The main games I play are GTA V, Cities: Skylines (very heavy on the CPU), and World of Warships.

My friend has been telling me to get the i5 instead of the FX-6300, even though has less cores (4 vs 6) and is slower (3.2GHz vs 3.5GHz) Plus I'll save $90 with the FX-6300. He's a Intel fanboi, but are there factors other than the amount of cores and how fast it is?

I found one with a GTX 960M and a i7 with 4 cores at 2.6 GHz, 12GBs of RAM too. I don't really know anything about Nvidia's laptop cards.

I want to have a portable gaming laptop. This is just going to be a secondary device, I already have a desktop for gaming. So is there really anything that's good for less than $1000? I don't need something that can run games at max settings, just medium at 50-60fps, but that's probably asking too much already.

I downloaded a CVPI mod, but the lightbar on it rarely spawns on AI vehicles. How could I make it always spawn on the vehicles?

When I install new vehicles, they have no glass? I noticed it looked weird and I shot the front windshield, and nothing was there. Also in the OpenIV 3d viewer thing, the modded car model doesn't show up. I use a backup of the original car, and it shows up?

I'm going to buy a new PC since my current one can't run GTA V well. (Haven't bought V yet) So how stable is GTA V with LSPDFR? Without any extra mods(scripts, vehicles, etc) and with extra mods, compared to LCPDFR?

I found tutorials on how to enable Halogen on OLDER version of ELS, and it seems they don't work for newer versions of ELS. So How do you enable them for ELS V8.5? I read through the manual that came with ELS, but couldn't find a answer to my problem....
