That's good it works for you! It has never worked for me before I have always had to have mine under 15.75 or my game is muted, same with most other LSPDFR players.

its just vehicles files that are muted.

Drop this siren into the custom Sirens folder and instead of "police yelp" you write in EQ2Byelp and it will read the files from the custom sirens folder I'll make an installation video to show you.

Yeah. Just cut and paste the audio files into the "custom sirens" folder and name the sirens correctly for the correct vehicles in that vehicles file.

Don't even need to do that! You can use sirens for everything as long as you dump them in the custom sirens folder and pair them up. To get dual tone you turn on a siren and then you hold down shift and select another siren tone.

So say you have the epsilon. Re-name the siren tones to "epsilonwail" "epsilonyelp" "epsilonpier" and "epsilonhilo" and put them in the custom sirens folder. Then in the "VehicleSirenSetup" you replace the names such as "policeprimary" with the ones you re-named and it will read the sirens out of the custom sirens folder instead!

This is the same version EQ2B as FDNY. Only difference between LAFD and FDNY is that FDNY has Priority tone enabled! I'm working on a fire truck horn as well! It took me a looooooong while to get sirens down too. Thanks to Albo1125's new SirenMastery mod though, you don't have to worry about naming and replacing files with 0x0 blah blah blah. You can name audio files things such as "epsilonwail" and "EQ2Byelp" and bind each individual sound to number keys to pair with a vehicle of your choice. SirenMastery can be downloaded here:

either one. Slow one is the original speed of hi-lo which is really slow or the fast one is a sped up version whatever you want

Looks fantastic and lots of hard work! but post the texture only in the vehicles texture section unless you have permission from creator of the astar

my guess is you probably have several other sirens installed that take up loads of space such as the EQ2B. You have to use sirens that don't take up a lot of space and also follow directions when installing those by replacing the train track sounds if you installed the eq2b

When you import the siren tones to open IV you can check the size of the vehicles.awc inside of open IV

Update will probably happen either tonight or tomorrow depending on if I have the chance to go see my friend and get a recording of the hi-lo tone of the epsilon.

next update I will find other audio files and compress them so there is more room for siren sounds.
