Hi Ninja Thanks for the feedback. One of these PC's is an investment for the GTA V PC release, but also to still play LCPDFR 1.0. My computer now struggles with the new version and the mods on top. I've decided that to get the most out of lcpdfr and the new GTA V i need the best Gaming PC out there. I just want to ask why do you think the I7 4790K will be better then the i7-4820K? Hi Hastings Yes after that essay i wrote lol thats what i did, plus with all the other advice that I stated to make it more stable. Sorry another thing that is very important, its probably been said a thousand times, but its so true and i got this from the moderators and helpers on here. When you start GTA4 go your--Local Disk--Programs (86x)--Rockstar--Then in your main folder find the--RSGC--open that and find the RSGCLAUCNH--and right click on that--go to--Properties--and in Capabilities at the bottom should be a box next to Run as Administrator--Tick that and then apply changes and then doing what i stated above--you should find GTA4--LCPDFR more stable. And make sure that your files are not READ-ONLY. Again might not work for everyone

One more thing, in the file you should notice is at the very bottom you see the times, 9.07 to 12.10 thats how long the game lasted before i turned it off and came on. So I found stability with the support of people on here and from tips off the net from lcpdfr games on youtube. Hi HDGAMER these are my current LCPDFR Logfile--in this you see i dont get the critical error message coming up, before i had loads of them. I do still get some problems but think they are the random crashes everyone experiences. I did once a total refresh install and then installed LCPDFR 1.0C with no mods but still got the CEM popping up after 20mins or so. The only thing i can say is that my lcpdfr 1.0c is running stable more than it has. so I just hope to help others with the CEM problem. For some reason ever time i try detach my files google is crashing lol so I've pasted the file instead.

Hi guys I have for ages now been plagued with the constant Critical error message (CEM) in the top left hand corner every time I play LCPDFR.10C, which causes game crahses and my other mods to play up. I've looked through the net to see if there is a solution to this problem, and while nothing has been concrete, somethings have helped me along the way to finding a solution to CEM. I've added things like "PreloadALLMODELS", which brings stability to the game. I have taken the tip from STEVETRACKBOYZ55 when he said to go into the LCPDFR folder in your main directory and find the other LCPDFR INI file and change "FirstStart" to "True" again its helped with the stability of my game. (Do that everytime you decide to play the game. (Also i found out that when i went into my local disk--users--in top right search and typed in LOCAL and gone into Rockstar and then SAVED GAMES there is an invalid file with my save file. I delete this to stop the SMPA60 from happening.) Now even after that I was still getting the CEM problem, so I did all the things the forums say to do, fresh install, update to latest patches, etc. But it was still causing the CEM to pop up. So I saw something written on the net that the Manuel LCPDFR 1.0C was more stable for the game instead of the automatic install. So I did that and guess what, yes u guessed it, I got the Critical Error Message again lol. So I started looking at the files and noticed something very obvious that i had been missing from all the other reinstalls and messing about with my modded cars and scripts and stuff. The LCPDFR 1.0C manual install didn't have a file called SLIMDX_X64, which I found on the older versions. (I installed the first 1.0 version to get the file). I've added that in my main files and up to now after many hours of testing it, i'm no longer getting the CEM. I know everyone's computer is different so I don't expect this to be the 'cure' of this problem, but if it helps anyone then i think its a good thing because the CEM is a real pain in the ass. For some this simple "fix" might not work, but for others it might just be the thing they need to do to enjoy LCPDFR 1.0C like i am doing. Hi i have the same kind of issue. Basically I want to get the ELS-H pattern for my WRNL siren. I am using Double Dopplers Astra mk5 and on his video you see in the els control panel him using els-h and els-R. I've got the R but not the H pattern. How do I get it? I do believe the cars are els-h compatible. I know he uses the old ELS V7 for this car, but surly you can still use V8 to get that pattern. Any help would be great. thanks guys

Hi ineseri, That problem is still accruing. I have uninstalled GTA 4, Installed again fresh. Then I installed LCPDFR 1.0c latest version. And the in-game error appeared. I have not put any mods into it to see if that was causing the problem. The in game message tells me to post my log file on this website so you guys might be able to see what is going on. Hi Guys I guess for the moment we bask in the glory that finally GTA V is coming to the PC. I hope like we all do that this beauty can be modded. Like some of you said I bought GTA IV for the sole purpose of playing LCPDFRand, so I hope and prey to god that we can do the same in GTA V. The only thing to do now is see what happens. My only problem is how to create a British theme mod in GTA V with a desert as part of the State lol Pretend Blackpool was swept in a sandstorm or something lol Love to hear from Double Doppler on that topic and some of the other top British modders out there to see what could be done. Hi I think I've solved the problem. Basically I installed Edit IV but for some reason the Lang file that I replaced wouldn't start up the game so I took it all apart from a file that I missed. Since I've located that rogue file the game (touch wood) is working fine with my British policing mods lol. Thanks for trying to help me keep up the good work love LCPDFR. Lets hope at E4 today that there is some hint that GTA V is coming to the PC

Hi yeah have taken mods out and reinstalled LCPDFR 1.0C with all the latest updates as well but keeps saying in top left hand corner critical error restart game and check log files.

Hi when I'm playing LCPDFR a message pops up in the left hand corner saying LCPDFR fatal error has to close down and says to restart the game again. I'm using scripts Braveheart Policing, VDHelper--Coroner,tow truck. Traffic flow. What i'm looking for is a nice blue sky instead of the whitish one i'm getting on extra sunny and sunny. and I want my nights darker and gritty. Any suggestions on what I might need or what I might have to change to get that effect in the enb series files please reply and give me some ideas. Thanks Guys Nick Leonetti

Hi guys I have downloaded the latest patch version 1.0.7.0 and i went to install update title and it installed perfect. I went to install titleupdate.msi and it comes up with installation failed. run start up to update. Then the next message is Grand Theft Auto IV wizard setup wizard ended prematurely. grand theft auto ended prematurely because of an error. Your system has not been modified. to update this program at a later time, run setup wizard again What do I do to resolve this issue? I've run it under administrator I've used troubleshoot but its doing nothing. If its something I have to modify how do i do that? Any help from you guys will be great I want to use Double Doppler's mods lol Kind Regards Nicky L
