From the album: BOSTON POLICE
After a Gang Marker came back from this officers ALPR, he pulled over this black Cavalcade, with a mid aged black male operator, first name Tracy, last name unknown. Boston PD is on high alert for this suspect that killed this officer on 12/09/2013. at approximately 12:41am. On mohanet Ave. Any info please contact Boston PD. -

i don't see any difference within the day cycle, maybe its not as bright as it would be normally, but def does not look dark.

lol topic can be closed, seems i stured up a hornets nest. not that im dogging any of the modelers on this site. or the cvpi vehicle. it is by far my favorite. and i do appreciate all the time they put in to modeling. pretty much why skimp on the cvpi but make outstanding chargers or impalas? seems alot of you took what i ment to say the wrong way. this one i like. alot so its not plain and boring. thanks for sharing and dont know how i over looked this one.

if any one of you can find me a cvpi that isent so plain,boring. ill take it back. till then the cvpi 'interiors" (not the car) are garbage lol And you all know it.

lol yes, i rarely use anything but the cvpi lol other than the tahoe it just gets me down when all other models have so much more to offer.

i love the crown vic in gtaiv lcpdfr, im just depressed noone has made a decent looking one lol

i wish i could, i dont know how to do it. ive tried and i just cant figure it out. trust me i wish i could figure it out. id make the badest cvpi out. i mean like you see chargers/impalas with like gps/laptops/cuffs hanging from the rear veiw/shotguns n m4s in the center console, nice detailed interiors. but then you get to the crown vic and its always just so blah, boring. nothing ever. sucks really.

why do all cvpis suck? seriously they are all garbage and its like the most known police vehicle? why do the modlers always skimp out on the cvpi? i dont get it

This is not an ENB nor any kind of graphics mod. it is purely just a time cycle file that is it. (yes i know technically it is a mod, because i modified an original file) but its only a time cycle file that is it. This was the Original time cycle file that came with GTA IV, and after installing patch 1.0.7.0. I made this because i do not like using any graphics mods, I like the original look, just hated how bright it was outside at night.. i find it way more realistic to have to use a flashlight/high beams/spotlight, while on night patrol [iN DARK AREAS]. I get no drop in FPS/ nor any texture loss, like most time cycles i download. they always seem to do a little more than just make the night cycle darker, and more realistic, which for me, screws up everything. If you are a GTAIV / LCPD:FR player who does NOT use any GRAPHIC ENHANCER MODS and wish to have a more realistic nightcycle this is for sure what your looking for! -NEW IN 1.0 -NONE OF THE LIGHTS ARE EFFECTED BY NIGHT CYCLE. -CONTRAST IS NO LONGER AN ISSUE AND HAS NO EFFECT ON NIGHT CYCLE. -ELS FRIENDLY IN ALL WEATHERS. -RAIN, DRIZZLE, AND LIGHTNING ALL LOOK THE SAME DURING DAY TIME. -NEW DARKER "FOGGY" DAYS. [CALM BEFORE THE STORM LOOK] -UNDER LIGHTS OR ON THE ROADS ARE, NICE BRIGHT, VIBRANT LOOKING, THE FURTHER YOU DRIVE AWAY FROM ANY LIGHTS, THE DARKER THE ENVIRONMENT GETS. [ON BEACH OR DOWN DARK ALLEYS] Hope Other LCPDFR players can enjoy this as much as i do. Please do not Upload this file anywhere else. This is a LCPDFR exclusive. Thanks!

Ok here is an update on whoevers following this post. i have been hard at work for the past few weeks trying to get this right in all weathers. i am done with all weathers except for lightning, i have a feeling it should not take very long, at least not as long as "fog" did lol. fog was hard to do, without loosing the fog effect. But yeah it should be done tonight (if my wife lets me work on it! ;P) which shes babysitting so yeah i should get it done and have it posted in the download section tonight!

alright so sunny and sunny windy is done! moving on to the more complicated ones. just a quick update. as far as moonlight goes, its not completely dark during sunny and sunny windy. and im doing all my editing to the time cycle with my "in game" contrast turned all they way down. so this is where IM going to keep it (for my liking). but if you find its just to dark for your liking you can turn up your in game contrast to how dark YOU want it (more "moonlight"=more contrast) This info will be released in the "readme" when released for download. (the in game display settings for full effect) along with a screen shot of how i have display settings set, and what i kept it at while i edited the file.

i dont own EFLC, so i couldn't tell you. but its worth a shot. i mean just backup your original timecyc file or move it to your desktop then replace with this one. i have made awesome progress with this so far, have u seen the pics i just uploaded to my gallery? simply amazing, im very pleased. if your willing to test it out for me on EFLC ill send you the file. but u need a trainer to lock the weather to sunny. so far that's all i have got done. been busy making it all look just right before i move onto sunny windy.
