  1. Hey nice video, I just recently started making LCPDFR vids myself. Keep'em coming.
  2. Yeah, you got that right. It would be nice if there was a mod that would fix AI driving.
  3. haha, Lets just say there were a lot of standby units in the area. Yeah, I only called backup once or twice... it just built up from there. Either way, It's actually not that different from real-life considering it's a high risk situation. Thanks for watching.
  4. Yeah, I hear ya... I can only go as slow as the suspect. Thanks for watching.
  5. Yeah I hear ya on that one! I tend to let AI take immediate control of scenes considering how pushy they are anyway. Makes for interesting footage as well I guess.
  6. haha, thanks! Yes it sure was a long chase. Police: CVPI Police2: Charger FBI: Slicktop Normally I would have the slicktop as the Noose, but i've noticed many problems occurring with the Noose in LCPDFR v0.95RC. Modded or not, there is about a 50% chance of a game crash when calling for Noose backup while in pursuit. That's why you will notice I never called for Noose support. I still have to play around with it and make methodical modifications. Thanks for watching.
  7. This is the first of my GTA IV patrol series on YouTube. Remember to watch in HD! Feel free to subscribe or add me as a friend to stay updated on my videos. Let me know what you think... Enjoy. Title: GTA IV - LAPD Patrol 1: Intense High Speed Pursuit
  8. This might be blowing things out of proportion a bit, but here: Just think of it as everything else in the physical world. Larger things require more energy / resources to operate, this is even true for "virtual" bodies including computer graphical textures. The larger the files the greater the toll on your computer. A large "file" is actually a greater amount of binary, (the 1's and 0's). The more the binary the more processing it will require to determine what the "file" is.
  9. Si l'ordinateur que vous utilisez pour installer la modification (LCPDFR) n'est pas connect
  10. Did you call for backup? Noose? I noticed glitches occurring when calling for noose backup... if the models do not load properly it will begin to crash.
  11. Just curious, did you edit the configuration file "first responder ini" at all?
  12. Yeah, I am understanding where you are coming from, but maybe there is a way to truncate this issue slightly. For instance, the configuration tip gnat326 provided for a me a few replies up seems to work like a charm although I understand it will load everything into memory. Maybe the developers could focus on that feature and possibly improve it to where instead of enabling all vehicles, users can select which vehicles he/she wants to pre-load, thus allocating only needed vehicles into memory. That might fix many problems and it's just one idea.
  13. I don't believe GTA is incapable of operating car mods. Having a larger model size which tolls more memory isn't proof of incapability, it sounds like more of an excuse to me. Honestly, nobody here is experiencing game crashes due to modded vehicles... They experience game crashes when they use LCPDFR along with the modded vehicles. Don't get me wrong, I can see where the technical requirements to run such mods is increased, but it doesn't render the game incompatible. I am not trying to come off in a negative manner, so don't take it that way. But to solve a problem we must first acknowledge that there is a problem, and not turn your backs on the ones who experience these problems. I joined this website because you guys have an amazing idea for a mod, it makes GTA IV worth playing again... But I am seeing a very strange support atmosphere here which I believe may be prolonging the ability to resolve problems.
  14. Thank you for the help, I will definitely try that out. If you have any other tips, please let me know.
  15. And the link was broken until now. Thanks.
  16. So basically LCPDFR is incapable of operating with modded vehicles?
  17. Here I did it myself as for some reason nobody on here knows how to properly link web pages. Click to view
  18. Still not seeing any links.. the sticky is broken as well.
