oh u doing it through steam.... I have disc but it shouldn't matter. um my suggestion would be reset your pc cause it wipe all them little files that cause crashes make sure u back up anything u want. um and start fresh that what I done and now ive been playing it for days nicely. good luck! that link I gave u download and install after reinstalling the game you need it to make everything work.

you shouldn't have to have patches etc. it all should work well. if all else fails try my idea above. make sure u have this http://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=5549

So what your saying is that it could be the simple native trainer that's mucked things up? or is it the new verison your downloaded for xnet. only solution I can think of and which has helped me is Reset your computer completely or uninstall game , rockstar and uninstall any mods. start fresh. run the game for windows live etc save the first mission. exit and re-try. this has helped me. I had troubles for ages. Anything else. just ask. Hopes this helps

Ive tried it all.....

ok i have everything ready to go i right click GTA IV - Run as adminisrator and then it comes up with GTA not respnding and wont tell me what the prob is???

how do you get a report??

Everytime i click on download....on ether 0.91 or 0.95 it will load then page states ' error ' sorry we couldnt find that. HELP???
