LSPDFR 0.3 - Now Released!

By Sam, in Articles,

After what has to have been the most chaotic night in the history of LCPDFR/LSPDFR, I'm happy to announce that the third public release of LSPDFR, LSPD First Response 0.3, is now available for download.  LSPDFR 0.3 brings with it many exciting changes and features, including some amazing developments we've made with the Downtown Police Station, beautifully seamless arresting animation sequences, and a whole range of general improvements across the board.
LSPDFR 0.3 can be found here: http://www.lcpdfr.com/files/file/7792-lspd-first-response/

Sam's New Year's Message

By Sam, in Articles,

It's been a while, but we're back, just like old times, with a very special New Year's update for everyone.  Exciting things tend to happen at the beginning of the year here at LSPDFR, and 2016 is proving to be no exception.
Continuing with this theme, there's a little something that I'd like to finally share with everyone who has played and supported what we've done here for the past six and a half years, and also with those who have yet to join us in what has been, still is, and will continue to be an incredible journey...

Greetings everyone and welcome back to the Community Staff Favorites.  This CSF has been two weeks overdue, primarily due to the holiday season which in turn lead to the staff’s lack of free time on the site. I hope you all enjoyed your holiday vacation and enjoy this week's featured images.  I’d like to express a big thank you to all of the individuals who decided to submit their work for this installation, and now without further ado (in no particular order) the Community Staff’s chosen Favorites.

Greetings from the Staff at LCPDFR!  Today we’ve had the special opportunity to meet another great LCPDFR Community Member taking the charge at making LSPDFR and GTA-V the ultimate police simulator.  This specific individual has gifted us with an all-in-one modification that gives us the free range to create our own law enforcement personas as we patrol the streets and roads of San Andreas.  If you haven’t guessed it yet we are obviously speaking in part of Alex_Ashfold and his Emergency Uniform Pack!  So without further adieu our interview with Alex_Ashfold.

LSPDFR 0.3 - November Update

By Sam, in Articles,

Continuing with the idea of posting regular updates on our progress with 0.3 on Tuesdays, we're back with a look at what's to come in the next version of LSPD First Response.
In an interesting twist, we've invested some time in creating a development system which basically turns LSPDFR upside down, allowing the opportunity for us to put the player in the position of a criminal being chased by the police.
See this, and more, here: http://www.lcpdfr.com/forums/topic/57315-lspdfr-03-november-update/

Greetings everyone and welcome to the third installment of the Community Staff Favorites.  I hope you all enjoy the images featured this week.   As you may have noticed this week's CSF is a week late in the making, partly because of all the submissions we gathered and had to sort through.  I'd like to express gratitude to all of you who have been patiently waiting so without further ado (in no particular order) the Community Staff’s chosen Favorites.

This is the fifth part of our LSPDFR 0.3 preview series.  For more information about the background behind 0.3, check out the previous installments here: http://www.lcpdfr.com/forums/forum/880-news-updates/
While we've already added an amazing amount of cool new features to 0.3, an update to LSPDFR, or even LCPDFR, wouldn't truly be an update without some further refinement of the pursuit system.  It is, in many ways, one of the largest and most important parts of the modification and with 0.3, we've been taking the time to make a number of small but noticeable improvements.  From more cautious cops to more daring suspects, we think you'll really enjoy pursuits in 0.3.
