When City Folk and County Folk Meet

The City of Elk Grove called upon their neighbors in Lakeview County to respond and assist with an outside fire earlier this week.

With temperatures starting to rise, fire crews have been dealing with an influx of outside fire calls both in and out of the City of Elk Grove.

Firefighters remind citizens not to throw cigarette butts out of their car windows, and if having campfires or taking part in any outside burning, to make sure that firefighting measures are in place, and that once done burning, ensuring the fire is properly extinguished.
