LCPD Officers responded to a disturbance at a Vietnamese restaurant in Leftwood. Upon arrival, officers witnessed a male in a hoodie yelling abuse at the restaurant owner from outside the store. The officers attempted to approach the man at which point he turned around and attempted to assault the male officer. The officers radioed for assistance. After a brief fight, the suspect was placed in handcuffs as another unit arrived. The man was searched, identified and arrested for disorderly conduct and two counts of assault on law enforcement.
