Police Chase ends in tragedy

A police chase has ended in tragedy after an NYPD Crown Victoria became airborne and landed on its roof with significant force. Both officers inside were killed instantly. An investigation into the cause of the crash has found that the driver, Senior Officer Francis O'Riley suffered a fatal heart attack at the wheel whilst responding to a 911 call in the area, the car mounted a nearby lamppost and flew through the air, landing on its roof.
