We don't lie.
When a Law Enforcement Officer says; "you never know what you'll get in a shift."
This is what they mean. A Lakeview County Police Officer was responding to a complaint out of Division 3 when a deer ran in front of their cruiser causing a direct collision, that could not have been avoided. The police officer had to remain on scene with their emergency lights activated until Lakeview County Fish and Wildlife officers responded to take the animal away. Unfortunately, the animal did not survive the impact.
The police vehicle; a 2009 Ford Crown Victoria, was removed from service and decommissioned from duty.
