'Speeding Kills. Think of your loved ones. Don't Speed.' -- Liberty City State Highway Patrol
At 1.45am this morning LCSHP Officers were alerted to an accident at Frankfort Avenue. When the LCSHP arrived on scene there was already an LCPD officer on scene awaiting HP officers to arrive. The accident happened at 1.30am when a Toyota Prius ran a red light and went against on coming traffic thus crashing in a 2012 black Ferrari 458 Italia. The FDLC were alerted at 1.35am. Witnesses the Toyota Prius was travelling at an average speed of 70 MPH when the accident occurred. Upon Investigation the LCSHP concluded that the Prius was travelling at ,a higher speed than that of what witnesses said, 90 MPH. Both drivers were pronounced dead on scene by the FDLC at 1.40am. Resuscitation efforts by the FDLC were not enough. LCSHP Commissioner Dillon, who was on scene, expressed concern that the residents of LC are speeding too much. He has also Expressed that the LCSHP and the LCPD will work closely together to form a speed enforcement team to prevent such accidents from happening again. As of today at 3.45am, the LCSHP and LCPD have arrested 40 speeders with multiple violations after an order to arrests speeders was issued by the governor Of LC, as the Governor was also a victim in one such accident, but survived.
