"On the 22nd of October, 2016, officers attached to the Traffic and Highway Patrol Command branch were patrolling the Vinewood/CBD area when they intercepted a flagged stolen vehicle. When the officers indicated the car to pull over it took off. Officers initiated a pursuit and gave chase. At one point officers lost sight of the vehicle, but found it soon after in a parked in a carpark with no occupants.

Upon inspection of the vehicle officers found a small quantity of drugs and a knife.

The car sustained minor damage such bald tires, bumper damage and smashed rear quarter window, the vehicle was reunited with it's owner.
