A Blaine County RCMP unit on scene where a child was left in a hot vehicle for over 20 minutes. The Mountie smashed the window of the vehicle and then proceeded to remove the child from the vehicle.

EMS officials attended to the child who was then transported to local hospital in critical condition. 

Mounties are reminding everyone to never leave a child unattended in a vehicle, even if it is running and air conditioning active, as the air conditioner may fail.

No further information has been released at this time but charges of child neglect are anticipated to be pressed.
