Nobody releases anything because it gets ripped the second they release it. Would you want something of yours ripped off and modified on a car that took you a month to make? Then when somebody rips it they just claim they made the part and the original author gets no credit what so ever. Just because he posts a picture on a public site doesn't mean the model should be released.

I know how much work is put into these things and I appreciate it. I didn't see anyone begging for parts or demanding release here. Only thing is, if you make a vehicle for a game and release screenshots of it, basically bragging about it and then say you won't release it, then don't even announce it in the first place, because that's just a shitty thing to do.

The guidelines state that, "Showing off models you have no intention of ever releasing is prohibited." Bugs never stated he wasn't going to release it.

The middle ground is you simply learn to do it yourself instead of making yourself look less inferior to those who can. I learned to do it myself, as can you and every other member on this site. I'll tell you I don't depend on downloads to model my stuff. I model stuff because I want something specific. I don't depend on anyone to do any heavy lifting for me because I can depend on myself. The middle ground is you simply learn to do it yourself, or accept the fact that those who can do it themselves don't want self entitled children having their work to edit as they see fit. *DROPS MIC* lol

 

BTW, you know how I can protect my work? Not releasing it to the public. Simple as that. I'm not greedy, I want to enjoy the game just as much as the next guy..I wanted to perfectly replicate the departments that I see on a daily basis and I can...because I learned to do it myself.

Nobody really knows that much about vehicle mods for GTA V, so who are you to say that models will never be able to be locked. 

I think you believe that I edit models somehow? Or release models myself.  I do not, as I have already stated.  The heavy lifting that I depend on is being able to play with vehicle models in my game.  Again, you're being hostile, and as i've said, I don't see the need for it.

As far as being on my own, I won't be.  Power abhors a vacuum.  You're stating that I'm making myself look inferior compared to those who can create models, interesting choice of words, but i'll take it.  I freely admit that I can not make vehicle models, that I download them in my game and play with them.  I didn't realize that was such a weakling thing to do.  You're entitled to your opinion.  When someone withholds models from being downloaded, others will take their place  I will also add that I don't think you quiet understand my point.  I'm not asking anyone to release unprotected work that they value, I never said that.  Its obvious that you're looking for a fight, and you're not being respectful, so I'll just leave this as the end of my comment.  Cheers.

Yep we have the entire Community team and many modders willing to go unlocked. If they want to leave they should let the door hit 'em on the way out. 

 

This model may or may not be released unlocked, i have 100's of models that i will be converting to V some will probably be released & some not will need to wait & see before blowing up my image with comments go make a forum topic on this.

ok Thanks for clarifying I would personally love if you released it unlocked and would be sure to make sure you were credited with every model that came out. I'm glad you are considering and hope you stick around and provide us with your beautiful work! :)

bxbugs123 will release any of his models only wen he feels like it. Nobody owns it, paid for it or call the shots for him.
