Unless NYPD bought some more taxis, im pretty sure they dont have anything other than grille lights. Aswell as wigwags and those taxi lights flashing.

    They also have strive lights in the reverse lights

    BTW I drove an undercover yellow cab in new york for 4 years and we had the tear drop light for the dash ,There was no stationary light just a removable light. We later got a viper s2 with the suction cups

    *Just looked at a few you tube videos and they no longer use a dash light but they also have corner strobe lights
