I wasn't alive then, but I read about it online, and that's a real bad scar on the LAPD, even though Rodney King may have been instigating it, who knows.

Yeah, me neither, however I've known about the riots for a while, it really changed the LAPD style of policing from aggressive to community based (debatable).
