CG Blaze Members December 26, 201312 yr Author stats Interesting little tidbit of information you might like to hear: Although I can't seem to find any pictures of them anymore, in the wake of 9/11, GM donated several Impala demonstrators to the NYPD in an effort to replace some of the cars they had lost. Many still sported this paintscheme, with the addition of NYPD lettering. Even more interesting, they were also delivered with Whelen Edge strobe bars, unique to their fleet. They even ran blue to the front! Weird, and illegal in NY, but why look a gift horse in the mouth?
