LC DOT Private Bus Pack 2

In addition to the 4 bus companies mentioned in there were 3 other companies which ran primarily express bus services into Manhattan. Two of these ran to the Bronx and were the first ones taken over by the MTA in 2005, while the 3rd (Command Buses) operated through Brooklyn. Also operating in NYC is the Roosevelt Island Red Bus, which operates exclusively on Roosevelt Island by the Roosevelt Island Operating Corp., a semi-state funded entity. This service does not accept the standard Metrocard fare and is essentially outside of the regular NYC transport network, with the routes not shown on city bus maps. Included in this pack are:
