Liberty County deputies were assaulted by several junkies after they responded to a noise complaint coming from the abandoned house next door. One of the deputies managed to radio in for backup and within minutes more county sheriffs with the assistance of the Liberty City PD managed to find and apprehend the suspects. Both deputies did not suffer any injuries but minor scratches from bumping into objects during the scuffle. Both were cleared by EMTs and continued their shift.
